	I was wondering what kinds of activities does everyone do with there ACD? It doesn't look like many people use this forum but I figured most people that do have or had ACD. I think that is what Bandit is part and I would like to have some more ideas of things to do with him that he would enjoy.

	I'm pretty new my self. I've have German shepards and Rotti's in the past. Shiner is my first ACD. From what I've read they tend to like to do agility and fly ball. Once Shiner gets more settled in to her new place I'm going to see about finding any local fly ball groups to let her give it a try.

California- Cowpups

We Double-Dog- Dare Ya!

	We are fortunate in that our dogs get the best of both worlds. We live in town, so we do the jogging, dog park, pet store, concerts in the park, Starbucks, and lots and lots of walks. BUT, my dad has a cattle ranch, so we also get to do the country stuff too! Working cattle, trailrides with the horses, irrigating (which means gopher hunting for Tillie!) and interaction with the ranch dogs. Probably our favorite activity is spending time in the mountains during the summer. We love the off leash day hikes. (In the winter, it's snow play) But the best is that two or three times a year we do a backpacking trip into the wilderness! The dogs have their own backpacks, and Joey has hiking boots to protect his sensitive pads. They carry their own food, leashes, and bowls. Cattledogs are great for this because they are typically such "velcro" dogs that they stick close to their people...but having the protective nature and excellent hearing is great in case someone or something wanders too close to your camp! Plus, they help keep the tent warm at night. And the companionship is unbeatable.

	I am really good at agility(when I want to be..I can be stubborn..like any ACD) and I LOVE playing ball..I chew on the ball until it pops actually...and I love to run and play catch. Alot of ACD"s like frisbee too..I've just never really played it that much. I do have to admit though..I'm kinda different than most ACD's..I have a bit of divaness in me and just enjoy laying around on the couch along side of daddy watching tv too...

	I'm a little like Tajah. I love to lay in bed with my mommy and watch TV. And in the winter I have a heated blanket. That's my diva side. But, I'm also active. I go to daycare twice a week so I can play and work out some of my energy. My mom and I try to go for walks as often as possible (it'll be easier once it gets warmer). We play fetch, go to pet stores, go for drives (I'm on alert so much that I wear myself out protecting the car), train, and play with puzzle toys (wears me out mentally). I also live with a Westie that I love to chase and wrestle with. And my grandparents have a farm that I can visit to play with other dogs and herd.

	i like cuddle with mama and learning new things! but as for ACTIVE things, mama works on her tennis serve and i am her ball boy and bring the ball back to her. this summer we're going to try biking, and i'm going to help mama start jogging again!

	I do lots of stuff. I do to day care three days a week, go to the park at least twice a week, go to herding (sheep) practice once a week and go hiking in the summer and fall. I also wrestle inside with my sister every night. It sounds like I'm super active, but I like sleeping next to Mom on the couch all evening and even all weekend without complaint if the weather's yucky. Mom said she's going to do agility next year with my sister Scout because she's super fast, but doesn't care about sheep very much. I LOVE the sheep and it's my favorite thing ever to go herd them.

	I like to play with cat toys mainly. I am purebred and my mouth is small, so furry small toys without stuffin gare best. I like to run after a rope toy, but I am not real good about actually bringing it back to my people. Mostly I like to go on walks and explore.

	What I really like is frisbee. Now that they days are longer and it doesn't get dark so soon, I get to play almost everyday. I go for a walk everyday, especially before we go out with the frisbee so I don't get injured and stay fit.

	Frisbee, frisbee, frisbee....gosh we can't even say it or pull out his backpack without him going nuts! Also, we got something called a jollyball that he loves to herd! I think he would be great at agility, we just haven't signed up yet.
