Peace, Love and Playtime: The Story of Holly Marie

Happy First Birthday, Holly Marie!

Holly's birthday was pretty low-key (I want to have a joint party sometime between her Birthday and Owen's) and so she started out the day with a one egg, ham and cheese ommlette. We brought her a squishy ball for her birthday (balls are her new obsession -- she loves them!) and took her on a trip in the car that Thursday.

My baby is one! :(

I haven't been too hardcore about training Holly so far, it's been more about keeping her out of trouble lol. These past few days I've been testing her on what she knows, and this is the basic list of commands so far:

Sit.
Stay.
Lay Down.
Play Dead (I don't know HOW she learned that one)
Half of Roll Over.

She seems to really struggle with standing on her hind legs, she over balances and falls down.

Early morning outing.

Today we took Holly on a solo car ride with us to the city to do grocery shopping. We left about 6 AM.

Holly is a good traveler, she doesn't fuss the way Pablo does when left in the car and she mainly sleeps while we drive. It was very cold but luckily I remembered her jumper as I ran out the door.

She was so good she got a share of my savory toast and a new toy :)
