Arrival Story:
One day I was on my way to pick up my husband's paycheck, and drove past the Memphis Animal Shelter. Now, a week prior, my husband brought home Bella, an 11 week old Pit bull. Bella was terrorizing our other grown dogs at 11 weeks, mind you! I said in my head as I past the shelter, "NO MORE DOGS, you already have 6!" One the way back home my car magically pulled into the parking lot and I found myself inside. I wanted to take every dog home with me. My original idea was to get another Pit around Bella's age. They let me stroll around by myself and as I walked down the corridor I came across this slender, petite dog with bif brown soulful eyes. I walked past her 3 times while I checked out the other dogs. She gently licked my hand I was in love. They told me it was her lucky day as she was going to be put down the next week. That is why my husband named her Lady Luck, We call her Lady!
