So this week, my mom has been trying to build me some full sized agility equipment. She needs full sized equipment for 2 reasons: one is 'cause I hate touching the 1 foot high contacts, so she figures if they're bigger, I will touch them. Two is because I need to get over my fear of the teeter. I just hate the movement and it's taken me awhile to get use to it. Luckily I won't have the contacts anytime soon.
Well, back to the building. My mom's been getting confused on how to build the bases, but I think she's finally gotten the idea of the teeter base, after a couple of days of research and trial-and-error. So today I was watching her measure out the lengths of the wood to cut. Her older brother has to do the cutting though, she's not handy with electronics.
Now shes talking about needing a protractor to measure out 45 degree angles, whatever that means!
But tonight, instead of chilling with me and my sister, she's been trying to figure out the dogwalk base. She keeps muttering something about finding the right stable design. I wish I could help her, but without speech and handy thumbs, I can't draw out what to use.
Well, I hope my mom gets her ideas straight, so I will have new equipment to test out!!
