Bio:
Betty is 34" at the shoulder and fluxuates from 115 and 125 lbs; right now she is roughly 120 lbs, but may top-out around 135 in her lifetime. Betty is incredibly intelligent which is not always the case with this breed; she is very willing to please, LOVES people, and is very sensitive to the feelings of others. Betty had a very healthy, planned litter in December of 2008, which was her first and only.
Update on Weight gain goal: After Betty lost weight from giving birth and was spayed in February of 2009, I started mixing -in cheap dog food 50/50 with our normal Diamond Lamb and Rice formula. It took awhile, but a combination of hormonal maturity and a junkier diet FINALLY increased her weight. I have since gone back to a 100% Lamb and Rice Diet; she has gained some pounds since. Adding another 5 pounds would be ideal, but a lean weight is actually great for this breed, less strain on joints and hips.
