Arrival Story:
Buster was 3 years old and very set in his ways when my husband of one year brought him home. We lived in an apartment where no pets were aloud, when I reminded Hubby of this he told me that his other "daddy" told his other "mommy" that if the dog was still there when he came home from work he would shot him! So it was a rescue. And yes, we did get kicked out of the apartment. But Buster is a special needs dog, he has been to four different Vets who all said he is Manic-Depressive and should be on Prozac. He also has Seperation Anxiety. He will be 15 years old in a couple days and it has been a long journey with many ups and downs. It is a challenge loving him sometimes because of his aggression and many people have said we should put him down. But I can't see giving up on him because of a personality disorder, if he were a child would you lock him away? We all have problems, good days and bad, if he can unconditionally love me on my bad days, so can I love him!!!! Yes I am one of those people that treat my dogs like children, because they are!!! We have no human children, only furry four legged children!

Bio:
May 6, 2005 My Baby Bus is gone. My heart is aching and the tears won't stop. Though you've live a long life, I still can't say I was ready to let you go. I hope you know how much I love you and Mother's day just won't be the same without you! I will remember the good times and deny the bad. You are a one of a kind and you taught me so much. I love you!
