well, i hope it's getting cooler wherever you are. it's doggone hot here in central florida; but we walk every night and sneak an hour in at the dog park, so i'm still wagging!

It's been so long!

Hi everyone!

I can't believe how long it's been. Summer was so busy, crazy and fun. First, I went with my whole family - even the cats - to Pacific Grove, CA for two months so my dad could work. I loved it there! Dogs are allowed on so many of the beaches and I played with great dogs all the time. You can see a picture of me playing with Hudson at Carmel Beach. (he is really big) Plus, it's always cool there, so great for walking with mom and dad. Our house was right by the water, so I could watch birds and people out of my window all day. Go there if you get the chance, you will get pet a lot.

After that, in August, we had to head home. But first we went to Chico, CA to visit friends. Bidwell Park has a fun river to wade in. Next we traveled to Indiana. It took awhile, and we stayed in cool hotels along the way. I even walked through a casino! Funny place. Finally, I stayed in Shelbyville, IN for a week with four more cats. It was hot there, but everyone was very nice and the back yard was huge. I caught the frisbee there for the first time. YAY!

Now I'm home in Satellite Beach for a while. Really hot here, but I have a bunch of big dog friends I see when we go around the block in the evening. I should have time to catch up more often, at least for a while.

happy memorial day weekend! looks like it's going to be rainy here if florida. hope u all have great plans.
last night mom took me for an evening drive. boy, it was nice to get out of the house! drove down the coast line... i just love the smell of the beach...then mom drove through neighborhoods really slowly so i could stick my head out the window and just smell, smell, smell everything. hopefully we'll go again tonight, and dad will come with us.
momma says my stitches are looking better, too. she smiles when she says that, and kisses my head. that's good.

mom's blog today is about military dog heroes...it links to a great website. i think you all will like it.
