I'm not very happy with Daddy at all at the moment.
I was lying on the end of his and mommy's big bed last night on my blanket when my ears started to hurt!
"Xena, you're losing your beautiful figure," daddy told me with a grin as he was getting ready for bed.
I lifted my head immediately upon hearing this and gave hime the "Xena look!" :(
"You're starting to get positively fat," daddy continued.
I was not at all impressed with this. I got up and moved totally over to mommy's side of the bed where I lay my head down in her lap as she was reading her book, and I gave my "Xena sigh." :(:(:(

Some people don't think that dogs understand what people say, but I knew daddy was saying something I didn't like hearing, and I've barely looked in his direction all day.
Mommy told daddy off, and said that any girl knows when someone says something uncomplimentary about their figure be they human or canine!

My tummy is definitely spreading though, and I'm starting to feel uncomfortable if I don't lie a certain way.
Those puppies of mine sure are partying up big time at that discotheque inside me too. No matter how much I bite, nudge and nibble my tummy they just won't stop dancing. :(
It seems as if I want to eat all the time, but I can't eat a whole lot of food at once. I'm so pleased mommy cooks me scrambled eggs for my breakfast because that's all I want to eat in the mornings now.
I'm also sleeping a lot more than I ever have done during the day too.

The worst thing that's happening at the moment though is the disturbed sleep.
I keep waking up wanting to go potty several times during the night.
When I wake up with that uncomfortable feeling I groan loudly trying to make that feeling go away - it doesn't.
The next thing I do is stretch out to see if that will make that uncomfortable feeling go away - it won't.
I then sit up and sigh because I really don't want to get up and go outside to go potty - we've had some horrible frosts down here at night this past week. The grass has been extra cold on my bottom at night, and nowadays I'm having to squat lower than I ever have done to go potty! :(:(:(
Finally I give in and wake mommy up to take me potty - but strangely enough she's already awake.

It's the nicest feeling to come back to my nice warm blanket, and get another couple of hours sleep before I wake up again.
Warm doggy blankets on a cold frosty night have to be one of the best things ever in the whole wide world. :):):)

Ut Oh your Daddy said a bad thing huh? Maybe you can let him know if you didn't keep him running in that show ring along with your fursbs he may get a bit chuncky himself! BOL! You will soon have your beautifuol babies and and Daddy will give you extra food to keep the milk bar full;) It will be a most wonderful day for all of you!
