OMD! Baby Bella just pulled the big Easter Bunny out of her father Howard Jr's crate here in the living room where I'm lying on the floor relaxing. I wonder what Baby Bella's fun police daddy Howard Jr will have to say about that when he comes in later tonight! He he!!!!!!!
We're all going to miss Baby Bella when she goes to live with her fabulous forever daddy Chris on the 11th of next month. Baby Bella's leaving will be sad and mommy knows she's going to cry, but as mommy and daddy believe that a huge part of being responsible breeders is acknowledging when those of us doggies under their care should be placed in loving forever homes where they will have more individual time spent with them than mommy and daddy can give, mommy knows the very best life lies ahead for Baby Bella.
It's been the most beautiful sunny Spring day here down near the bottom of the world today. Us doggies have all been outside enjoying the sweet smell of the earth waking up from it's long winter sleep. The air has been full of the smell of lush spring grass, the sound of 100 lawn mowers in the suburbs surrounding our inner city rural paradise, the sweet smell of the blossom on the trees, the chirping of the birds making nests in the trees, and the glorious radiance of the sun shining down upon us.
Mommy was pruning the last of her 100+ roses, and daddy was working in the garden when we were all out runing around and playing so happily.
However we all had to be put in our doggy runs when daddy brought his manly chainsaw out of the garage and headed towards the silver birch trees that grow down the side of our long driveway.
The 100+ year old trees get pruned right back every 10 years, and this is the year they succombe to daddy's chainsaw.
As the sound of daddy's chainsaw sounded in the distance, mommy put cuttings off some of our bushes into nursery bags in preparation for the future day when we move from here at the gardening table she has near my run. I jumped up onto the roof of my kennel in my run by the garage and went to sleep.
The beautiful warm rays of the spring sunshine seemed to shine down on me for just a short while as I drifted into a most peaceful sleep.
My peaceful sleep was suddenly shattered by the strangest sensation in my belly. I leaped up with the most startled, shocked expression on my face from my most peaceful sleep.:(
It felt like I had a rocking nightclub inside my belly!
Once I had gotten over the shock of this very foreign feeling I started ferociously attacking my belly with my teeth, trying to rid my belly from the squirming, somersaulting things inside of me. :(
My belly had living, partying beings inside of it. I'm sure there were disco lights flashing inside of me too. My belly felt like it was "The Ministry if Sound" inside of Xena!!!!!!!!!!!
Mommy looked up from her gardening table to the roof the kennel in my run where I was lierally trying to bite inside my stomach.
"ZZ," mommy called to me as she walked over and unlatched the gate of my run. I immediately ran up to her and sat obediently at her feet, but then that party in my belly took over and I started biting my stomach once more.
Mommy rubbed my ear as she gently lifted my head from my belly to face her.
"Xena, I know you don't understand that strange sensation in your tummy," she told me, "but that's just your puppies moving inside of you."
As I gazed into mommy's eyes I thought of how mommy was the one who rubbed me dry when I was born. Mommy was there in the small hours of the mornings after I was born when my mama and I needed her. Us doggies all love mommy and trust her so much, so when mommy stroked my head and my belly at the same time and told me it was OK, I believed her.
I'm pacing the livingroom floor at the moment, sitting down every now and then, biting at my belly as I try to stop those things inside of me from moving.
Daddy is sitting at the dinner table eating his dinner and he is laughing at me.
Mommy keeps getting up gently rubbing my belly as she tells me it's OK to have those moving things inside of me.
I really don't know what to think about what's going on in my belly. It feels like I have the New Year's Eve party from Times Square in New York in my belly, and my puppies don't want to stop partying.
As I groaned and lay down yet again at mommy's feet, she gently rubbed my ear and said;
"Welcome to motherhood Xena, and the many sleepless nights we will share together from herein."
Pretty soon those puppies are going to be outside of your tummy and you are going to be a super busy momma! We know it's sad to see Baby Bella leave but are pleased to know your Parents always make sure the puppies go to only the best of homes. Soon you will be raising your own family Xena and what a wonderful Mommy you will be. We are so looking forwards to seeing them when the Light Show Stops and the Party Begins! BOL1 Wishing you and babies a safe and healthy delivery♥
Love You Sweetie Not the joys of motherhood !
hugsss Thank you everyone. There's still a party going on in my tummy and it kept waking me up in the middle of the night. I woke mommy up and she massaged my tummy which helped. I'm hoping that I'll get some decent sleep today so that I'm not so tired. :)
