With great sadness to his many friends, our Rocky has travelled his final road trip to the Bridge. It grieves our hearts and souls to say our goodby's but we know our beloved Rocky is now at peace and no longer in pain.
We will remember Rocky and his family as always be there with a paw and loving words of comfort when illness struck. We will remember acts of kindness and generosity to all animal causes and issues. We will remember Rocky for his love of life and wonderful spirit.
Rocky loved his kongs and swimming and long walks around the Lakes at the Sunyyab Campus with his mom and dad. He so loved his teddybear and Old Navy bones. OMD, how he loved chicken! How he HATED having his nails trimmed!
If you read his diary entries, most were beautiful tributes and words of love to his pals either ill or leaving for the Bridge.
He was bestowed a St. Francis medal by beloved Winston who had worn it around his neck. How treasured that lovely gift was by him and his family. I know that Winston will be the first in line to welcome you to your new home.
Family was what was important to Rocky. He and his brother Sarge who once lived in Las Vegas were very close. We are sad for Sarge as he will miss his brother Rocky so very much.
His mom wrote this Tail of Devotion to her Rocky -
Ever since we got Rocky, there was a special bond between us. I never would have believed that a dog would become such a huge part of our hearts. He is the morning sun and the evening star. With his beautiful expressive eyes and big smile, as Lab's have, we feel that he is watching over our family and is glad to be where he is. When walking in the woods in the fall or by the lake, there is a peace and contentment that is like none other. He is all heart, we love him so. Thank you, Rocky, for being here. Rocky's family
Rocky, you are the morning sun and evening star to each of your pals as well. I hope you know how much you are loved and how you have become a part of so many of your pals hearts. Godspeed, handsome pal. Til we meet again, I will look at the evening stars and know you are shining down on all of us with your special love.
Your pal, Willie

What a beautiful tribute you've written for our beloved pal, Rocky, a friend to all who knew him and loved him so dearly. We are all so heartbroken at Rocky's loss, but comforted knowing he is now at peace. Our thoughts and sorrow are with his family now. They were such a loving family for Rocky and surrounded him as he left us all this morning. A deeply sad day for all his pals. What you wrote is beautiful and brought us again to tears.
Bless you for putting into word what so many of us are feeling and thank you for sharing Rocky with all of us.

You have such a way of writing the right words to make our hearts soar as well as weep.
Such a lovely tribute to such a wonderful friend.
Our hearts are with Rocky's family.
Love to you and them,
Dear Willie, this is bringing so many tears. Thank you for your loving tribute. You are a good friend to so many. And one of our first friends on Dogster, in your sweet Lobster outfit.
