Since joining Dogster, I have made some wonderful friends. I've also lost my heart to the beautiful Rosalita Lola (Rosie). She takes my very breath away and I feel like a young pup each time I think of her. Well, there are others who also feel the same way!
I was sent a challenge for a duel for the love of the lovely Rosie by Bruschi who just happens to live over the border in New Hampshire. Although I am not a brave dog, I felt I had to accept this challenge.
Bruschi's weapon of choice was stinky socks and mine was linguini. We were going to meet at the border of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and fight to the death for the love of the sweet Rosie.
A forum was started and many of our friends joined in with suggestions and comments. It became so big that TV rights were spoken of for those who lived too far away or out of the states.
I felt badly cause I truly like Bruschi and he, I, but when in love, what's a dog to do????
Rosie came thru with an urgent email asking for us to end the fued. She didn't want either of us injured by flying linguini and advised she loved us both.
Laddie, one of our friends stepped in and reminded us both that there was too much war in the world already and we should forget our duel and share in the love of the sweet Rosalita Lola.
I extended my paw in friendship to Bruschi and he returned the paw shake. We decided we'd all meet in the fall at the dog park at the border of NH and Ma and have a cookout with linguini, meatballs, ham and ice cream for dessert and watch the Patriots game (Bruschi is named after Teddy Bruschi).
I'm am glad we were able to resolve the issue without bloodshed. All are welcomed to our fall cookout at the dog park! (food contributions accepted)
