Arrival Story: Molly was left at the kennel where I board, and after a month of not hearing from the owner, the kennel filed a suit (theft of services) against Molly's owner, gaining legal custody of her. I saw the kennel owner in town oneday & she told me about this little puppy that had been at the kennel for over a month! I stopped by the kennel to check her out, and needless to say, Molly has been in my family ever since! Her original owner told the kennel that she was a pure pit (American Pit Bull Terrier) but as Molly grows, it appears she is also 1/2 lab. So, I say she is a Pitador (or Pit-I-Adore!).
Bio: Molly has been in our family for about a month & 1/2 & is fitting in nicely. She is housebroken, loves her kennel, and can sit, shake, down, & wait. A very smart girl but a little 'bullheaded' sometimes!
I plan on putting Molly to work as a therapy dog when she meets age requirements. There is a program here where she can go into schools & the kids can sit & read to her. I think it would be a good experience for everyone involved.
Molly goes to puppy daycare every weekday except Friday-on the weekends, she & Bo play constantly. And she loves her kiddie pool~especially now that the Texas heat is kickin' in!
The pond is our next experience-If she's anything like Bo, she will have a ball playing there.
