I thought this was a cool idea. I did mine from the UK Kennel Club groups.

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE A DOG FROM EACH KC “GROUP,” WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?

Hound Group – Whippet
Despite looking fragile, this little dog can outrun other breeds. Makes a lovely pet & such a sweet looking dog.

Gundog Group – Labrador Retriever
I will always have a soft spot for Labs. They have beautiful personalities.

Terrier Group – Jack Russel Terrier
I'm not a big terrier fan so this was hard. But I think I'd go with JRT's purely because there seem to be energenic, fun little dogs.

Utility Group – Akita
Oh Akitas. I fell in love with this breed two years ago. While, I'd properly never own one myself, I still love them. I love their strong appearance and their long history.

I hate how they are becoming another status dog around here.

Working Group – Newfoundland
Big hairy monsters. Love them.

Pastoral Group – Border Collie
This is the hardest group for me because I love most pastoral breeds - Aussie's, Shelties, Rough Collie, Smooth Collies all come in close second but my favourite will always be the Border Collie. I love their looks (no one is the same) and the personality suits me perfectly.

Toy Group – Papillion
Paps are the only toy dogs I like. They're fast, making amazing agility dogs, but they look so delicate. I love watching Paps competing in agility.
