A New Friend

Mom brought home a new friend for me!! I'm not sure how I feel about this. Her name is Taffy and she is an apricot poodle. I can't believe she did this, bu,t she put me in the crate with Taffy for the first night so she wouldn't be scared. That little thing cried half the night and I didn't get any sleep at all. I think mom felt a little guilty about it because she had me sleep outside next to the crate after that. I still don't get much sleep but at least I don't have to baby sit all night anymore.

And, wouldn't you know it. She's just too small to play with right now. She stands under my belly and thinks she is really funny. Mom thinks it's funny too. She takes my toys and plays with them too and I don't like that so I take them back and put them in a pile in front of me and guard it so she can't have any. Mom doesn't like it when I don't share and she makes me give one to Taffy. Taffy is a real slow poke when we eat and I try to eat her food when I am done with mine. Mom doesn't like that either so she makes me go outside.

I'm feeling kind of jealous right now and I keep pushing Taffy away so mom will pay attention to me. It is really hard for me to share. But I know mom really loves me a lot and I will feel better about all this later on.
