My boy is on the trip of a lifetime! He flew late last night from Oakland airport to the District of Columbia! I never gots to see him fly! I didn't know he could do that!
Anywoofs, I knew sumptin was up yesfurday afternoon when I got left home alone! I never gets left home alone in the nights!
It started as a normal day. Me, ma and my boy did our normal mornin' routine. We dropped my boy off at school, then stopped at my favfurite Covered Bridge park fur sum fetch, then went to ma's office fur a few hours.
We left the office a bit earlier than normal and met my boy at home (he takes the school bus home). Ma threw my ball fur me a bit but then called me in and said I should give my boy a hug or rather let him give me a hug, which he did. Then she put sum kibblies in my bowl and they left! Woofs?!
I never did see dadster that afternoon, but later that night, ma and da came home with no boy! That's when I found out he flew away!

I think your boy will have a furtastic time in D.C., when he comes down to roost from his flying.
It is a great place! That is where my pawppy grew up. He just got back from there...but he rolled all the way there and back...600 miles each way.
Is your Boy on his Spring Break with other kids, or is he in some program for smart kids?

That is very cool. My skin siblings are very smart peeps too.
Do you think he might bring you something back? Like a tennis ball signed by Bo?
Howls, Tux, that would be great! But a teenage boy rememberin' to bring sumptin back fur his dog? Maybe stranger things than that have happened. Maybe.
Bet he has a lot of fun.. I love travelin' and Momma was talkin' today how I might get to fly sometime in the near future.... better get to work on sproutin' some wings!!
Sounds like he is going on a fun trip!
And Finn, you don't need wings to fly - you just need a cute westie face to get through security!
Your boy must be having a wonderful experience and good time in DC:-) He will be back before you know it! As for you, Pepper... Enjoy the complete attention form your mama and papa!
Hey Finley & Whitley! Ya don't need wings to fly? I've seen the birdies fly and they have wings!
