Max is helping with baby

Well our 6 month old human baby girl is having to get breathing treatments which she hates! While she is screaming and crying because of them Max comes over to investigate. It seems that she is now just as curious about him, as he is her.
During each treatment Max will come sit next to us, and when she starts to cry he'll stand up and sniff her, he really gets her attention when he sniffs and licks her little fingers, she'll stop crying and watch him and when he stops licking she runs her little fingers threw his beard ( I am careful to make sure she doesn't pull it though).
After that Max will lay back down until she starts crying again and he's back up licking her fingers again. It's a cycle they go through every breathing treatment (5 times a day).
I know I say this every post, but I am so thankful Max is such a wonderful family dog and I am so glad we have him.
