Wow, I got a gift (a ball, of course) from Nicki. She is one of my pup pals and playing ball is one of her favorite things, too. I gave her one in return, plus all the rest of her family. We are all rat terriers, you see, and we "ratties" love to play ball.

She called me handsome!! I think she is very pretty.

Those thunderstorms have started again. I really, really hate it. Nicki calls loud noises "booms". I think that name is very appropriate, especially for thunder that makes your house shake. Thankfully there was no hail.

Mom didn't play with me much last night. She stayed outside until dark and when she came in she was really filthy. She had been playing in the dirt - something called gardening. She went and got a bath before she played with me. By that time it was almost time for bed, so we didn't get to play very much. I hope she doesn't do that too often. I really miss her.
