Birthday: February 15th 2006 Arrival Story: We have been waiting for Blossom for about 5 weeks now as we were treating her for heartworm infection while in a KY shelter, and we could not safely transport her to us during that time. Well, Blossom is doing FABULOUS and is now safe here at CBR-East. Welcome, sweet beagle girl! Bio: My name is Blossom – aren’t I just a doll? You betcha!
I’m new to rescue and I came from a rural Kentucky animal shelter. I’ve been waiting to make the long trip to NJ for a month or so coz I was diagnosed with a yucky case of heartworm. The good news is that those little squirmers are GONE and boy do I feel better. Whomever adopts me won’t have to worry about my health because thankfully my heartworm was caught early and treated FAST so there won’t be any prolonged effects from having it.
I’m a super sweet girl and I don’t mind being crated at all. I would prefer to spend the day in your lap but I understand that you have stuff to do so I’m happy just to be near you. Right now I’m in my foster moms care and I spend my days with her other dogs and a cousin of mine who says that foster homes are really cool places to be coz we get something called spoiled!
I travel well in the car, I’m light on my feet and I like to play with toys. I’m up to date on all of my shots, I’m microchipped and I’m ready to find my own very special place in this world.
If you can open your heart and home to me, please do – I promise you won’t ever be sorry.
PS – if you like “lap dogs†I’m just the perfect size – barely 11 inches tall and maybe 15 lbs or so – that means I’m great for light travel! I've Been On Dogster Since:
