Bonjour ~Mr. Cutter~
Instead of my usual word of the day post since I haven't posted one in a while, I thought I'd share this.
What I've learned since I have lived with my forever Mom after my puppy mill rescue.
*Hands don't always abuse you. They now are only used on me for skritches, skratches and SNACKS. (Except I only let 2 people skritch or skratch me, but will accept SNACKS from most all.)
*Hardwood floors are not only OK to walk on, but sliding around corners and tappity tappity tap tap dancing on makes beautiful music.
*Blankets are comfortable to sleep on. Pillows better. No better place is the one that Mom just left and expects back. BOL. Make no eye contact and you can deny there was ever an "Evil Eye" directed your way.
*Sleeping on the bed. Never underrate this as I did to begin with. Best snoozing spot EVAHHH, trust in me. Trust in me!
*Yards are made to run as fast as you can around. True fact.
*Leashes are not actually torture devices and WALKS are so much fun. Still to the day I am working on peeing on a WALK. Nerves.
*Cameras - never to be trusted. Believe me all you pups - have you all seen what is posted out there? Always blink and move. Blink and move.
*Barking and running are almost the best things to do in the morning.
*The best thing to do in the morning is to visit the "morning wood tree", where both Scooter and I pee on and scratch our bellahs, wait SQUIRREL!!!
*Communicating with the neighbor dogs that bark is not "gossiping". It is a vigilant news hub of all activity either real or imagined. I've heard if you Bark, they will bark back.
*Fences make you invisible. Bark away at any noise you hear.
*It is always the most soothing if I have Mom in sight. Unless of course the couch or bed is calling.
So those are some of the things I have accomplished since I came to live in my furever home.
EXCEPT I almost furgot!!
My bestest pup pal PEPPER is still my bestest pup pal and makes all of us grin everfurry day (except the grump Queen Misty). Thanks Pepper for making it easier for all of us. BOL.
And that is what I will leave you with tonight. All I have learned.
Adieu ~Mr. Cutter~

So glad you have a wonderfur home too.
So glad you have a wonderful home! I like sliding around on hardwood floors too - just make sure you stop in time and don't slide into a wall!
