So pupses, I had a pretty good Easter. My BFF Finley came to visit me and we had a whole lotta fun. We got in lots of barkin' and playin' and we went on two walks while she was here. I got to show her dose tasty chickens I am always seeing on my walk. I tried t tell my momma we should have some chicken for Easter dinner and dat I knew where to get it, but she didn't listen.
glad you were able to have a visit with Finley and you got a stuffie too Glad you had a nice Easter. We had a quiet one here. So you have chickens! We have a flock of wild turkeys. Not the kind in a bottle, the kind that have wings and are much bigger than chickens. We saw about 4 of them the other day on our evening walk. I tried to catch one but the darn harness, leash and Mum on the other end stopped me. When Duncan & I both pull together really hard we can get Mum to take a step or two, but that's about as far as we can get. Hope you have better luck with your chickens. What a swell Easter you had! A visit from Finley had to be the Best gift of all.....Gpa wouldn't share his Easter candy,either...I did get to hunt 3 eggs filled with my own special treats. I ATE THEM all and didn't share with anyone! It's Quiet here too after the grandkids left.... We were all pooped out..Turned cold at night only 16 last night and 40 today. Sun is shining but very chilly. Feels o.k. from the back of the loveseat! I did hunt 45 min., the gophers are wussies and wouldn't come out! Hmmm, we see the neighbors chickens a lot around here, but they are smart, I think and do not try to fly into my yard...or I would surly be having me a chicken dinner... Sometimes I see turkeys in the back road wooded areas, too. We saw a couple that were 'strutting their stuff' on Sunday! We had snow here today, UGH! The plants and trees arenot going to be happy... Glad you had a fun Easter! Woofs! Great gettin' to see you on Easter, BFF! Snow!! OMD!! It are so nice and warm here! We ain't got turkeys or chiggins, but we's got ducks in da pool!!
