It was a slow weekend for me. With the weather getting nicer, mom and dad have been taking me on long walks. On Friday, mom took me to the enchanted forest at noon to do my duty. She has to be at work early that day so we don't have time to go for a long walk. I went into the woods and there was a white cat crouched down in the leaves. He didn't seem too happy to see me. I don't chase cats so he didn't have to worry. Mom encouraged me to continue along the path so I did. I did my duty and when we went back, the cat was still there. I think he was watching me the whole time. I wanted him to know I was friendly and wanted to play, so I did a play bow. I don't think he understood because he arched his back and hissed at me. I just don't understand cats!
Nothing exciting happened over the weekend. I went on walks with mom and dad and made my weekly trip to the pet store. Today was Monday and nothing exciting ever happens on Monday- except today! I was ready to go for my walk down Winter Street but mom took me to the enchanted forest instead. She told me we were going on a trip later in the afternoon. Sure enough, around 3 o'clock, mom put my harness on and told me to get into the car. I was really hoping I wouldn't be going to Boston again. I was really happy when we arrived at Aunt Carla's. I practically pulled mom to the front door. I got to run and play with both GT and Gill! I think GT is my boyfriend now. Gill doesn't seem to be that interested in me anymore. Mom was there to help Aunt Carla clip Maya's nails. Maya is an Italian Greyhound. She is my friend too. She really hates having her nails done and has to take medicine to keep her calm. Mom had to hold her while Aunt Carla did her nails. She was squirming and struggling to get away. I even showed Maya that it didn't hurt! I let Aunt Carla clip my nails too! We visited for about 2 hours and I got to run outside a lot. It was fun. I didn't want to leave. Mom had to pull me back to the car! Mom told me that I could go back again soon to play again. It was a nice surprise for a Monday afternoon.
