So mommy and me have been talking a lot lately about Rusty. You see, we found out yesterday at the dogtor, that it appears his time with us is running very short. Rusty is my brofur and very bestest friend. I have never, ever been without him. I'm trying to comfort mom as we go though this and she is worried about me being alone.
What to do? Mommy said she is considering getting us another beagle, but she is not sure what Rusty would think of this. Would this help me and mommy, but hurt Rusty? What do you think my pup pals. The Pepper needs your advice.

I think more than anything, Rusty wants you and your Mom to be happy and safe. He would do anything to take your sadness and pain away.
If a friend for you and your Mom help you to heal and love, Rusty's heart would be filled with joy.
For me and my family, the addition of Rosie and now Caileigh only helped strengthen our bond and love with Cookie.
We have a magical gift. It is pure and powerful. It is simple and universal. It is love. Unconditional, unwavering, forever.
Peppy, our friend Riley is right. I'm sure Rusty would love for you and your Mommy to be happy.
If a friend for you and your Mom will help you through this difficult time we know that Rusty will be ok with it. Remember we are lovers by nature, that's all we know.
This is Bailey, Sophie's sister...
It's a tough question... I'm like you. I never knew life without my brother Momas. When he passed away, (also from cancer), mom, dad and I were all devastated.
We were in no hurry to get another pup around here. We were settling in to life with 2 dogs in the house (Sophie and I), but then somebody emailed mom about Atley. and, well, you all know how that turned out.
Atley is loved like nobody's business. We all love him, and he loves us. And we all still love Momas.
We believe that when the time is right, the right pup will find you. And when that pup comes to you and your mom, Rusty will be thrilled that you and your mom have somebody to keep you distracted, and not thinking about how much you miss him.
After all, he's going to be partying at the bridge with Momas, and our Winston, and Cookie, and Ernie George, and Stryker, and on and on and on!
