My tennis ball and my "pepper" - a red plush toy I've had for years.
Favorite Food:
I have to stay on a prescription diet. Sometimes mom gives me rice or scrambled eggs.
Favorite Walk:
A 3 mile treck on a trail that runs beside the river. I can go off-leash on weekdays.
Best Tricks:
Catching my tennis ball in mid-air and the guilt trip I lay on mom when she has to go anywhere without me!
Arrival Story:
I dropped out of heaven into my mom's life in 1997. She had been looking at little dogs to be a companion to Abby, her golden retriever, who was 2 1/2, but had never had a little dog before because she thought they were jumpy and yappy. I was lost, cold and wet. Mom tried to find out who I belonged to, with no luck. My vet said I had just come out of heat, so I had to be spayed. The big dog loved me, and I made myself right at home. In about a week, I was the ALPHA!! We lost our Golden in 2003, and my mom and I have been takiing on the world alone ever since. She says I am her gift from heaven!
Bio:
I am a silky mix. I don't know what the other half is. Mom believes some uncaring breeder may have tossed me out when I went into heat because I was not a purebred silky. I couldn't help it!
