Birthday: October 22nd 2008 Likes: Cat toys and now her new bones Pet-Peeves: The bitter spray she throws a fit when we spray it Favorite Toy: A beany baby easter bunny Favorite Food: Merrick Favorite Walk: Well we are not to good on the leash yet, but she walks with me without a leash and stays right with me Best Tricks: sitting already and now she just learned to shake Arrival Story: I walked into the pet store On January 14th and fell in love. This little black Lhaso Aspo was looking at me throw the window and I was sold. The girl that was helping me knew it too. Seanna was showing her self as a very well balanced puppy not jumping around playing but not be playful. So thought she was going to be a calm puppy. So had Melissa get Seanna ready for me on Friday January 16th to be picked up and ready to come home to a home that has more love than ever. Not only for puppies but for all animals. I have a 17 year old Chow/Sheppard mix and she is so loved and I contribute her long life to the love and affection she has gotten since she has been with us. I also have a 22 pound mancoon black/white male cat Midnight which is the king of the house, my daughter came home with 2 more hybrid beangle cats one is 14 pounds (male) burloiuz and the other one is only 6 pounds (female) Diamond. In all the animals have all gotten along very well. The little puppy tears up the house with running after the bigger ones and sooner or later they are going to turn around and swat her. The 17 year Purdy carries the puppy sometimes in her mouth I have to get a picture of that, I think I should have had Purdy have puppies she would have been a great mother. She is always watching over the over animals that are in this house and children she loves. Watches every child in the pool and if they are to far away from the steps she starts barking and barking until the child comes back to the steps. She has always been my babysitter outside near the pool. Knew when my child was in the pool and when she was not supposed to be. hmmmm But thank God no accidents and we survived all that walking stages and climbing stages. Now I am working on the next adventure in my life a new puppy. I have never had a pure breed dog so this is new to me. I keep asking questions, like why is my puppy so small when I see others that are her age and 2 1/2 times bigger? Why does my puppy not want to eat her food she wants to eat everyone elses food. Well I am learning since it has been awhile since I had a puppy and we are both learning about each other. My daughter did not like the puppy to begin with but she is coming around. OK she hates the name I gave my puppy so when she calls the puppy it is a totally different name and I told her that the puppy will never learn her name so STOP IT! Bio: Seanna is a lhaso Apso she came from breeders in Buffalo MO, she must have been the runt of the litter or maybe they are just small. She has a little underbite to be exact 1/8" but nothing to worry about right now. On Saturday January 17th she went to visit the Vet Dr. Foggelberg here in Florida and he said that she was healthy and just love her and love her like you do your other dog. And she will live along life and a happy one at that. Seanna is Black with a white chest, white on her face and a white patch on her head, she also has white on her tips of her paws. But no hair on her tummy yet I have not figured that out yet. The doctor said it will grow but she had no surgery he could see. Took blood from her to make sure her i don't know was perfect. OK you all must think I am nuts, but I usually spend alot of money at the vets to make sure my pets are healthy as I. Forums Motto: I am as cute as a button The Groups I'm In: all about lhasas, For the Love of Lhasas, Lala's Lhasa Group, Lhasa Apso Time, Lhasa-tude, Puppy Pals (Big and Small) I've Been On Dogster Since:
Trip to the vet - Saturday I went to the vet and Dr Foggelberg said I was healthy and no need to worry about anything. I have learned alot since the last time I was writing on my diary. I am able to sit, shake hands, speak and lay down. Okay I have to be told like 3 times or I don't get a treat so I have learned real fast. I want my treats.
I got a kennel cough shot and my last of my puppy shots. So I am good to go with all. So my mother will be taking me to the park over here, it is $150.00 a year to join. hmmm and my taxes pay for this??
I am still chasing my cousins around the house, and this morning on Feb 2nd my sister Purdy bit me, I guess she is old and crabbing not to be able to play anymore. hmmm I will show her. Bark at all later
Boy I did not like it but I knew I needed to go and make sure I was in perfect shape. Dr. Foggleberg said I was I was heathly as an ox. No kennel cough no nothing. Everyone was loving on me. My new groomer loved me so much she made me have a hair cut so everyone could see my eyes. The Vet said not to take me out too much I got my rabies shot this day. So I was very tired and all I wanted to do was to sleep after that outing.
I came home to my new home in Satellite Beach, FL with my new owner. My owner has a daughter named Stefanie, they have a lot of furry cousins here already but I think I will fit in just fine. First the oldest is a dog my half sister which is part Chow/shepard mix her name is "Purdy". The next 2nd oldest is a 22 pound mancoon cat his name is Midnight, then we have sister and brother hybrid beangle cats (1) male and (1) female - burliouz and diamond. So all I got to do on my first day home was to meet everyone. And they were not happy with me that day. But they will learn to get along with me.
