I Finally Played in Aunt Maries Yard and Went to the Beach!

Last weekend mom Beth and Aunt Marie took my bro and I to visit St. Pete. We played in Aunt Maries yard where we could run free, chase things and roll in the grass! It was just pawsome! Then they took us to the beach for the very first time. Fort Desoto Park is wonderful, it has a beach and we ran into the water and barked at the waves! We ran around until we just couldn't even wag our tails anymore! We'd love to go back and hope aunt Marie will invite us again real soon! TTFN and Tail Wags!

Okay Summer in Florida is Arfully HOT!

The last 6 weeks or so have had me panting! First off, it rained all day every day for weeks. And not just the fun rain, the kind you can go out and enjoy when you walk around the neighborhood. Nope this was really hard rain, too hard to even go out with my raincoat on! So we didn't get to play outside much at all, or go to the puppy park! Arrrrrrr!!

Then it dried up, and got really dry and humid. I went for short walks and man was my tongue a draggin! Thank goodness for moms, cool water, and tile!

Woof! And something terrible happened! Moms saw my brother and me scratchin, yip yip, you guessed it FLEAS! All this weather had just been right for them to come out and hitch a ride on us! Mom's treat us monthly and had just groomed us a few days before, but that didn't stop those pesky bugs! We had to treat the whole house!

Lately it has just been hot! The box that the moms watch say it's been feeling like 103 all I know is sidewalks are pawfully warm! We still haven't been to the puppy park and don't get much time outside. We take strolls in the morning and rush back to the cool tile. Sometimes in the evening we go outside while moms grill, but we don't stay out too long.

The thing is this, if we can't go outside because of storms or heat, why do humans call this DOG DAYS of SUMMER?

I've Got Class! But didn't we already know that? Woof!

We Graduated!!! Woof Woof! Our last class was March 28, we played took lots of pictures and recapped what we had learned. After class we celebrated with a stroll in Celebration park and stopped off by the barkery! I just wuv their treats! Moms say we may take another class this summer but want us all to take a break for now. I sure hope we do cause I wanna learn more stuff and meet more friends! Time for a nap, smell ya later, TTFN! Tail wags!

What a wunderful weekend we had!

Yesterday was the 7th of 8 classes of our puppy school...I graduate next week! Woof! Woof!

This week was a review of everything we have been learning and a couple new tips for mom. Its wuf to think of not seeing my classmates after next week, but I am looking paward to graduating.

After class we went home and took a nappy and had some lunch. Then mom surprised us and took us to a new puppy park! Woof! We went to Dr. Phillips Park this week, it was a little small but near a boofiful lake and there were lots of nice people around. We met several new friends and played, ran and smelled around for about an hour. On the way home I fell asleep I was just all pooped from so much fun that day.

Today I laid around alot and rested bepaws I am still a bit tired from all the activity. All in all is been a woofiful weekend! Tail wags everyone!

Doggie days!

Awwrf! Good to smell you all again! I have been so busy with puppy classes and practicing. We are half way through our course and things are going just pawfectly! We have learned how to walk nicer, ignore things that we used to snif, sit pretty, and lay down. Mom says I'm really smart and doing gweat...just a littlee stubborn some times!

I like my classmates but am glad the class is small bepaws its just so dang hard 4 me to concentrate sometimes. Our teacher is really nice, her name is Kim. I don't always agree with what she's tellin mom though, guess thats why mom thinks I can be stubborn! Arf! Arf!

I really miss the dog parks on the weekend, but I am usually dog tired after classes and sleep 4 a couple of hours. Mom says maybe we can do both this weekend though.

Gotta run 4 now! It's time for my mornin stroll and breakfast. It sure is a dogs life! TTFN and Tail wags!

First Day of Puppy School

Mommy decided we should go to skool and learn how 2 talk 2 each other better. 2day was our first class and it was a hard day! The class was inside a petsmart and there were so many distractionz! Puppies were everywhere and then there was noises all around. I just couldn't consentrate! My brother greyson did great with the sit, treat thingy, but I was lookin all around at other things. I did better with walkin on a leash, but there were still so many things 2 C!

Once we got home, I did very good with all the practice. It's just really hard 2 concentrate when there r so many other distractions. Mom says that why we r doin this though. I am so very tired, the day was ruff! Mom took me for a stroll after and then we worked on the sit thingy again.

So 4 now, I am gonna go get dinner and nap! But hey! All puppies out there...do the tricks and training moms and dads offer!!! Once ya figure our their moves, they give ya treats for just following their lead....and u all know, being cute doesn't hurt!! Wuff! Smell ya l8tr!

I ran so fast and played with big doggies!

Yesterday my mom took me and my brother to Fleet Peoples Park. What fun! I waded in the lake and ran through sand. I met and sniffed alot of new friends. We played and played and played! My brother is still kinda shy, but he did really well 2!

Moms took us off leashes after a bit and we ran till we couldn't even wag our tails cause we were so dang tired! But just as we were leavin we got trampled by a big bully in a mussel! I am sure he is an okay puppy, but I don't think he should have been out at the busy park that day because he was scary! He scared my brother alot....it was kinda funny! :-)

I was so tired I fell asleep sitting up on the ride home! It sure was fun and I hope we go back real soon! bad part is I had to get a bath when i got home...oh well, I guess it was okay for all the fun we had. I gotta go for now something called the super bowl is on and I wanna watch it with my mom! Go Steelers!

Humans are strange sometimes!

It's cold here this week...really cold! The grass is kinda neat though, it's like little salad Popsicles! You can lick and lick it and it stays cold and crunchy.

But mom did something I don't understand last night. I was laying on her lap under a snugly blankey catching a few zzzz's while she stared at that big box with moving pictures and sound. She calls it TV, whatever that means.

When I woke up, she took me out from under my blankey and put my thermal long john pjs on me. She said this was to keep me all warm and snuggly...but I was already warm and snugly under the blankey!!! Humans!
