Arrival Story:
Libby was the only girl in the one litter we let our dog, Katie, have. She was born on 9-9-99 so her birthday is easy to remember. She was the toughest of the six, and her Mother's worst nightmare-she was the only one who wouldn't mind her (although she does now). Libby is a very girly-girl dog, and she stole our hearts so we couldn't stand to part with her, although the plan was to sell the entire litter.

Forums Motto:
Hootie Who

When Libby was just a pup our neighbor's kid and some of his friends terrorized my little Lou by chasing her. I'm sure they only wanted to pet her, but it really scared her and after that she was quite a timid little dog. She is fine around family and frequent friends but very shy around any one else. Libby has graciously kept her place of second on the totem pole to her mother who has gone blind. She could easily be top dog due to her mother's disablity. Libby has her own cat Mina, whom she tolerates very well and defends when the older cat has had enough of her kitten antics. The other cat belongs to Libby's mom Katie, and her name is Emma. Mina loves to hide under things to get Libby to come snooping for her, then she jumps out and like a little vampire attaches herself to Libby's neck. There is never a dull moment at our house. Libby's favorite indoor toy is a whoopie cushion. Ha! She can be anywhere in the house and if you squeeze it she will come, barking like a maniac. So, if you need to do that at my house you better go outside or Libby will bust you, big time.
