Well, this is my first diary entry. It's going to be a long one since I'd like to tell you a bit about me, besides what you have learned in my profile.
I'll start with my home life. My days are pretty regular, at least during the week day. Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa all go to work or school and I stay home with Great Grandma. I mostly sleep all day, saving my energy for when Mommy gets home from school. My favorite part of the day is when Grandpa comes back to get me so when can greet Mommy when she gets off the bus. She's always so happy to see me, and I'm always happy to see her. Lately after Mommy gets home she's been taking me out sled riding, and I find that to be amazingly fun. She chases me down our hill on that thing she calls a sled. I always carry my stick as she chases me.
I have a little sister now, I'm kind of jealous of her. Mommy brought her home a few days after Christmas. Mommy named her Candy and she is this fluff ball Mommy calls a rabbit. Mommy should be paying attention to me, not a fluff ball.
Mommy can be a lot of fun when she doesn't have school work. She must get a lot of it though because she ends up doing it all night, and I just sleep next to her. She talks to me while she works, and I find her voice to be fun to listen to. I know she cares and loves about me, she even tells me so, but I know even with out her telling me. Over the summer Mommy kept her and I busy with training. We went to Obedience classes and Agility classes. I loved Agility class! I was really getting good at it too. I just can't do the weave poles, I don't understand them. Whats the point of weaving through something when you can just walk past it? I guess if I practice it more I'll find the reason behind it. Mommy and I even went to a match over the summer. I didn't do so well, and I feel bad about hurting Mommy's feelings. I suppose I just got nervous. I ran out of the ring during the Novice Obedience show, and I didn't listen to Mommy during the Pre-Novice Obedience. Mommy has continued to work with me though, I admire her for wanting to keep going and not giving up on me. Don't worry Mommy, I'll learn it soon enough. Like Grandpa always says, "Patience is a virtue".
Well I better get going, I think Mommy needs the computer to finish her Spanish homework. I will write more here if I can think of anything else to add.
As for now, Good bye,
Dolly
