 Birthday: January 24th 2004
Likes: The Couch and watching documentaries with Mum and Dad. I love anything under-water and with cats or dogs in it.

Pet-Peeves: Grey hounds on TV, The hose, absoluty terrified of the garbage truck to the point when mum has to carry me (which is very hard for her as I am growing soooo big) and balloons (espcially pink ones??)

Favorite Toy: Carboard boxes, icecream containers, sticks and cuttle fish from the beach and a very punctured soccerball

Favorite Food: Mum and Dad's left over steak, plastic containers, pig ears, bull snouts (yummy!!!!!) and schmackos.

Favorite Walk: On the beach where we live and around the paddocks where there are these strange things called Kangaroos (I'm not too sure about them).

Best Tricks: Roll over, play dead (so mum can cut my toe nails) and jumping over or on top of things.

Arrival Story: Tragedy struck our lives in February, 2003. Our cat Meeka had been hit by a car. Months and months past until my husband and I decided, after a lot of thought, we would like a puppy to love and welcome into our family. We knew already that we wanted a bullmastiff and after a lot of searching we found a couple who had 4 pups left from a litter of 15 that they were going to surrender to the pound because they couldn't find anyone to take them. So we drove over an hour to see if the parents had a good temperment and also what the pups were like.
Shaboo poked out to us like a sore thumb, we just knew she was ours, but what really clinched it for us was that the family had kept one of the pups for themselves and had named her Meeka. We couldn't resist calling Shaboo our own, call it fate.

Forums Motto: Shaboo aka what do mean its not my couch

Hello all,
We have moved again, but to a bigger and better place. It back on the beach were I just love and I have a huge yard to protect now :)
I also went to the vet for my booster (didn't bend the needle this time) but did have my temp taken (not happy jan).
And to even bigger news I turned 2 today. Mum and dad pulled out all the trimmings today. I had meaty museli for breakfast followed by me opening a new indestructable toy (or so they think) then a big cold juicy bone with lots of meat (salivating again just thinking about it) and then finally I got a big bowl of fresh roo meat for dinner. Can life get any better?

It's been a while since I have written to you but just to catch you up on the goss, we have moved house. My new house is a little smaller but Mum and Dad have huge plans for it. There is a cat that vists the new house as well (devilish grin). Also some other huge big news Mum and Dad got married!! Anyway am busy helping Mum around the house ie; warming up the couch when she is not looking. Bye for now. The Boo

Mum took me down to the creek today. She said it was time I learnt how to swim (that's what she thought anyway). So I watched her dive in but as soon as she called me in I got a little scared. I couldn't feel anything under my feet when I walked in a little as it was very deep. So mum grabbed my harness and carried me out a little with her. Then she let me go when I had just gotten used to being in the water and I sunk. That's right I couldn't swim. For some reason I just sank under the water with little bubbles of air coming out from my now very wet nose. Mum quickly grabbed me and pulled me up when she realised I wasn't going to move an inch. Thankfully I didn't drink any water. She was laughing very hard after she got me back onto dry land because it must have looked hilarious, but at least she still gave me a big cuddle and dried me off! (even if I couldn't swim). How embarassing!! What a Disaster Day :( Oh Well Better luck next time.
