Arrival Story:
Dear sweet Kaylie was aged 7 years when she came to live with our family on 25th April 2003. She came to us via Samoyed Rescue.
We were registered with Rescue for a much younger dog, but when we all met Kaylie her age just did not matter a hoot! She was so beautiful, gentle and had such a huge Sammy smile we could not resist her. We have years ahead of us to be dog owners and - as much as we would like a Pup - we all felt we could wait.
When we took Coney and Angel in at the age of 5 years, we thought that was quite old, but Kaylie being 2 years older has made us think slightly differently about older dogs. We would not hesitate to home an older Rescue again in the future after giving Kaylie a home.
She has the most loving nature and is always up for no end of hugs and kisses. She is fantastic with other dogs. She is great on the lead and off, likes travelling in the car, and loves people... basically she is just perfect!
She settled in with us very quickly and found her place in our home and hearts. My friend Vikki said it is as if she has always been here with us.....well, we all wish she had.
Coney likes Kaylie, that much is very obvious but then Coney is so easy going and laid back anything goes. He even lets Kaylie take his sleeping areas if she wants to.
Angel was just a little concerned about Kaylie's arrival and sharing her Mum (and her Nylon bones!), but she is fine now she realises there is no rivalry. Kaylie and Angel are such a pair on their walks, which incidentally Kaylie loves, they run about together chasing Squirrels and just having a great time. It is lovely to watch.
Kaylie had a litter of pups when she was 2 years old with her first owners and then came up for Rescue due to her owners illness. She was then re-homed but after a few months sadly handed back to Rescue once again. She then stayed in Rescue care for a couple of months before we homed her, so once again another Sammy on her 4th home.
Kaylie really has fitted in with us and we all hope she will forget the bad bits of her past and enjoy her new life with us. We once again have been very lucky to find such a wonderful Sammy thanks to Rescue.

9 Today were does time go? I had a lovely day and I got 2 new stuffie toys one of which I have not even picked up and the other I just love to bits and bits it will be in in a few days!
Mum, Dad, Coney, Angel and I all went for a long afternoon walk and we chased Squirrels, played in muddy puddles and the stream which was no too smelly today!
Later on Loren came home from shopping and she had brought all us Fluffters some yummy snacks.
Then it was dinner time and we all had roast Chicken, as Loren decided Beef was not going to be on our menu...what a cheek!
Now I am very tired and about to have a brush Mum says, as I am just to tired to play tonight.
I have had a very happy 9th Birthday:)

Hello,
Tomorrow is my Birthday Dec 12th 2004
I am nine years old this is my second Birthday with my new Family and I am always made a real fuss of and given nice presents and food.......
My fur Sister Angel and Brother Coney are always with me to share the day and my snacks! and Mum Dad and Loren of course....They are not keen on dog snacks though and I have often wondered why!
My Mum says our Birthdays and Gotcha days are very special to her, as she missed out on so many in our younger days when we were owned by other people, so she wants to make sure she remembers each and every one we all spend together.
On my first Gotcha day my family bought me a lovely stuffie piggy and Mum and Dad have had a statue of me made with my piggy but I have to say the real piggy looks a bit of a mess now all smelly, torn and de stuffed....Ah just the way I like my toys!
I will pop back later and tell you about my day
