Being petted, duh! Anything cozy or cuddly is her passion.

Her little Cocker ears being pulled on, Hayden jumping on her

Favorite Toy:
Little cat toys that she can chase and then nibble on.

Favorite Food:
Absolutely anything! But PIZZA she will go to great lengths for.

Favorite Walk:
Around the neighborhood in the early morning when the grass is dewy.

Best Tricks:
In her old-ish age, Sunny doesn't have the patience to learn beyond sit and lay.

Arrival Story:
I rescued Sunny from years in shelters in late 2008. She stood out to me as a dog that needed love. As an elderly dog with epilepsy, Sunny was in need of a secure home. Sunny has very deep trust and fear issues, and will not hesitate to bite a stranger when approached in a threatening manner. This was news to me, and I discovered this after I adopted her. I was worried that her and Zephyr would fight, even after their initial meeting went well. For the first few weeks, she was quick to snap, especially at Zephyr. However, as time has gone on, and she has (hopefully) realized she has a safe and loving home, she has dramatically relaxed. She no longer picks fights with Zephyr, she is an incredibly happy dog, and I feel completely comfortable with her. I truly feel I discovered my lapdog soulmate in Sunny - I am so in love with her, it's crazy! She is my little shadow.
