We were actually looking for a friend for Sam, our chow. At the vet's office one day he made friends with a collie. So, we knew thats what he wanted. We contacted collie rescue, Sam met Mandy and they hit it off wonderfully. She's been with us a year this March. They are always together.
Bio:
We're very proud to announce that Mandy passed the "Canine Good Citizen" test and was awarded a beautiful rosette in honor of the occaision. She also recieved a certificate.

Last week my Mommy and Daddy told me that Sam has not been feeling very well. He was older than me and feeling pains. I knew he couldn't hear or see very well.
They didn't tell me when Sam went to see our doctor that he wouldn't be coming home.
I'm used to seeing our doggie guests come and go, but they go to furever homes. Sam went to the Bridge.
My Mom told me tonight that Sam got his wings and he looks beautiful!
I'm glad that Sam isn't in pain anymore, but we sure miss him. He was my best brother and friend.

Ok, today mom gives me this wooden thing. It's painted on both ends. It doesn't taste so good, either.
What's with the take? And hold? She wants me to keep this thing in my mouth? Yuk! I just had to drop it.
