My friend Marley tagged me for this fun game. Here are the rules to the game.

In your diary, name 5 things you like about Halloween. I put down things I like this time of the year, not just Halloween - like others have.

OK, "5" things that I like about Halloween (or this time of the year)

1. I LOVE the candy! Mom lets me lick the suckers and I get pieces of the gummi candy. I heard mom say she is getting me some pumpkin cookies too.

2. I have a little witches hat with orange braids that I like. I get so much attention when I wear it. I live that!

3. I can lay on the balcony all day and not get too hot. As long as it doesn't rain- I don't like the rain.

4. I can cuddle with the mom and dad more since it's cooler.

5. Did I mention the candy???...

Ice Cream Tag

I would be cheesecake ice cream with strawberries mixed in (moms spent too much time at Cold Stone Creamery!) because I'm red in some places and white in others. me! And lots of whipped cream on top. I LOVE whip cream!!! MMMmmmmm....

The best surprise

I got the softest red teddy in the mail today. Its red and has a big heart that says love. Oohh, its sooo soft and I've been using it as a pillow. I like it cause its too big for the kitties to get (they steal all my tiny toys and move them around). Nope, not this teddy- its ALL mine!!!! Thank you to the Poms who sent it to me! I really, really, really appreciate it. And mom got all mushy about it too! Thank you from the bottom of my heart....

Went to the vet yesterday

I went to the vet yesterday and he did ANOTHER bladder test...Yukkkkk. He thinks I have a bladder infection (Mom could've told him that) but they can't find it. My kidney function is not good so they have to figure that out too. Maybe I have a kidney infection. Oh, I just wish they would quit pokin at me and figure it out. I got some new ear medicine so that should help. Getting old stinks. But on a good note my Daddy is on board with the whole "elevator" thing. I like to take the elevator, not the stairs. So when he walks me we take the elevator. Woo,hoo. Now if we can get Mommy on board..

I've been tagged by Marley. So, here is the info on me...

My pal Marley tagged me...He's so cute. He told me 7 things about himself, so I'll tell 7 things about myself. Then he tagged 7 pals and they were supposed to do the same. So I'll tag 7 pups.

1 - I just turned 14 on Jan. 14! Mom says I'm like a little grandma now- what's crotchedy mean?

2 - I get bladder infections all the time. When Mom goes away I "hold it" and don't drink my water.

3 - I like the kitties for company but act like I don't when Mom and Dad are around. When they come home we are all on the bed together.

4 - I love to eat little paper boxes. When people come to visit me I sometimes get into their purses and eat stuff, especially gum. Mom gets sooo mad. My aunt Rhonda came to visit and left her bag down and I dragged all the stuff out and ate the gum and tore up some boxes she had in there. Mmmm, they were good but Mom wasn't too happy.

5 - I'm very set in my ways. When we take my walks I only walk in certain paths. I snort if I don't get my way.

6 - I love my Dad so very much. He spoils me rotten. I like to sleep next to him on the bed. But I love to lay on Mommy too. My favorite is when I'm right between them.

7 - I sometimes don't eat very well (can't tell it by the way I look tho- BOL) so Mom gets turkey at the deli and puts it on my food. MMMMmmmm....I like the turkey.

Excited about Tater

I was really worried about Tater and his family- they were going to lose their home. But I just heard that they are going to be alright now. They can stay in their home at least.
Home is sooo important to me. I used to move around and have new homes all the time. My human grandma was sick so Mom went to take care of her and I stayed with my other human grandma Thelma. She was really nice to me. We used to take walks and she let me sleep on her bed. And she fed me all the time. But I missed Mom. Then Mom came home and it was all good but we moved again. So now I have a new Dad who's really great. He watches movies at home on projectors and he does research and reads all his books but he does it all at home so its cool. We all hang out. So, anyway, I understand that just knowing you have a home where you are going to be for awhile is so important. Dad says home is where your heart is and I think thats true. Is it too late to be a daddys girl? Can I be both?

Helping Casper

We are sooo worried about a dog friend of ours named Casper. He needs a heart surgery soon. Mommy and I brainstormed and came up with a few ideas. They are doing a raffle and they are going to raffle off one of our designs- Woo, hoo! That was idea one.
So tonight we were looking on Etsy (eye roll from Daddy) and we thought WOW!!- lets have a percentage of our proceeds go to Casper!! Yeah, idea two.
We are soooooo hoping Casper has the surgery and does well. When I was little the vets were giving up on me and I went to see the special doctor and I was wagging my tail. The doctor said "look at the little fighter- she's still wagging her tail even tho she is so sick. We have to give her a chance". And he did and that was more than 13 years ago.

So if anyone else is reading this and wants to help Casper go to his page and read about him.

Worried about Casper

I'm so worried abut my new friend Casper. He needs a new heart and everyone is trying so hard to raise money and awareness for his surgery. Mommy and I gave one of our new designs to be raffled off for him. I hope it's enough. What is a dog to do? I've had lots of health problems but nothing Mom couldn't fix. She jokes that she should have my doctorvet on speed dial- whatever that means...
Oh, I hope Caspers going to be OK. I'm keeping my paws crossed...
