Uh, oh...

Momma is a little bit grouchy today. While we were out walking, she would NOT let me stop and sniff every patch of yellow snow. (And, if we'd done that, Mr.Zaidie, we'd STILL be out walking - momma). She even tried to do 'bedience, but it didn't work.
Also, I've got Spring fever (yes, I know - 5 more weeks of winter)and all I want to do is GO OUT!!! Momma's ready to throw all my Poochie Bells into the garbage!! Dadda, come home from 'werk' soon, please!

This is truly an honour...

WOW!!! Momma and I just came back from a lovely morning walk...lots of stuff to sniff now that the snow is slowly melting away. Momma turned the computer on and there it was : a message telling us that my diary is being featured today on Dogster!!! Way too cool!
I'd like to thank the Academy for...ooops, wrong speech! Anyway, I'm having tons of fun on Dogster and I LOVE meeting new doggies and their people, so c'mon over to my page and say,"Hi!!!"

Goodbye, snow! I'll miss you!

Our snow has been melting so fast that I can see grass in the backyard. I know it means that spring is coming, but Momma and I like to go walking when it's clear and cold and the snow squeaks under our feet, even if it means I have to wear a coat. This weather just makes me dirty and we all know what that means, don't we? B_TH!!!!! Run for your lives, white doggies!!

Dogster Plus is cool!

Momma and I talked about it and we decided that, since I'm SO cute and 'bedient, it's time for Dogster Plus. We added more photos and she spent a long time captioning every one. Then she clicked on the wrong button and the captions went away, like my Cuz toys did when Momma had a headache.
This past weekend, Momma, Dadda and I went for a road trip to our favourite beach, but there was no swimming! There was TONS of ice everywhere, but, in a few short months, it will be gone! I can't wait!! The dog beach at Pinery Provincial Park on Lake Huron is my favourite place on Earth, next to Momma and Dadda's laps :)

Momma's list of important facts and figures for all- doggies...especially you, Zaidie!

Hi, everyone. Zaidie is with his accountant right now. I thought I'd take this opportunity to share a list of things which I believe every doggie should know. I've been a puppy momma for only 11 months so far, but I learn quickly. Here we go :

1) We will never NOT have food for you; therefore, there is no need to inhale each meal so quickly that you make that disturbing burpy/choking noise.

2) There will ALWAYS be squirrels outside. If you don't get to chase THIS one, there will soon be another. Also, you will NEVER catch one, trust me.

3) When we're in the car and you're sitting there, watching for other doggies, please bear in mind that we will NEVER stop and let you out, so you can run over to say hello. Please stop the incessant whimpering, whining and window scratching.

4) Not everyone wants/needs to say hello to you when we're out walking. I know it's cruel, especially considering the effort you put into greeting people, with your spinning, 2-legged hoppy dance, but I'm just being honest with you. Dadda and I do think it's the cutest thing ever, though!

5) When you ring your "Poochie Bells" every 10 minutes to go out, we know that you're messing with our heads. Knock it off, please.

Poor, sick Momma

It's the weekend and that's good 'cause it means Dadda's home to help me take care of Momma. My job is to lie on top of Momma while she is lying the the couch, to help keep her warm and to let her know that I'm here for her. Occasionally, Dadda needs my help in the kitchen and he needs to be walked at least twice a day, so he keeps me busy, too. It's kind of scarey to think of what their life would be like without me, Zaidie, to keep things on track. Total CHAOS, I'm sure.

Poor, sick me!

Oy...what a day. I've been sick, but I'm feeling MUCH better now. I've had a couple of snacks and my tummy doesn't hurt and I even played a bit of soccer in the living room with dadda. Momma looked after me all day. She's an excellent nurse and she doesn't give needles!

I'm feeling better today! Yay!!

Good thing I was feeling better today because Momma, Dadda and I had a road trip. Momma had a 'ppointment in Toronto. I love being in the car and watching for other doggies from my very excellent car-seat/bed. It's very comfy, even though I'm strapped in for safety. I can sit or lie down; I can curl up into a ball or I can s-t-r-e-t-c-h out. If I get a sibling, there might be space issues.
