It r a tip'cal fall day here in souf-western Ontawio - kewl 'nuff dat da peeple need wear a jacket, bud nod so kewl dat dem r stuffin' dere LWDs intu fweaters an' junk. Da sun r pwayin' hide-an-seek wif da cwouds an' dere r wotza weafs on da gwound, holdin' in all kindza wunnerful smells an' stuff. OMD Zaidie!!!!! My little heart stopped when I readed the part about yur "Belt" cummin undun! Did yur pantses fall downed an that was why yu were huggins the grounded??? The zoo looks really nice! I has a harness kinda like dat, but it is called a harness... I've gotta wear dat when we goes fur a walk cuz I pull like sled dog and then I quacks kinda like Donald Duck if I just has my collar on... I've never gotten it off, but I have slipped my collar off when I've gone out front to do my bidness... And I do just like you do when that happens-- I flatten down and wait fur her to put it back on... Momma sez dat is so different from her bassets-- they would have taken off and she woulda had to chase after them. that sure does sound scary glad you are ok Woofs! What an excitin' walk! Dat r da wule here, so we can nod bwame any adult beberwages on dis one :D I've had that happen when one time when my harness came off because it was new, and it was too big for me. Mommy never used that harness again, but I'm a good dog and I did not run. However, Angel Zoom Smokey got out of her collar and she took off. As I've said many times, she is not a good dog.LOL I'm glad you are okay, and I'm sure your Mommy was terrified! Whewwww that was a close one Zpup! We all have harness so Mom is going to check them out and make sure they all work right. Mom normally walks 2 or 3 dogs at once so if that happened to her she would passout right there!BOL I think you could feel the fear in your mom and that's why you flattened! Woof, Buddy Glad there still is a Z-pup in Canada, not lost or squished. My harness has come of twice. But just like you I just stayed there and let the silly humans fumble with it until they got it back on correctly. Now Hampster is another story. He got out of his harness once and Mum had to chase after him fur 2 blocks. Finally caught up to him (he slowed down and let her catch him, such a Momma's boy!). She makes certain that our harnesses fit right, especially after the groomer! I got it now! There is a baby boy giraffe there called Mosi...but there was a little girl (HA!) born there too, and her name is Mkia, which means big or tall. I think she is a wee bit younger than Mosi. BP Zoo has been there since 1977, and is a great place to visit if you are in this area. Growlmy used to take boss-boy and unfurbro there when they were little dudes, and they loved to get to ride on the little train that was there...and still is! Hope your harness stayed on today, Zaidie! ACK!!! Z-pup, I am SO GLAD you're not a pup pancake!!!!!!!!!!! HunBun, I's not sure why we goes all flat like dat, but Whitley duz it too.... maybe it's a LWD thing??? Yeah, I does it too HunBun. And I look at my momma like, put da collar back on me dummy. BOL!
