My 1st Birthday With My Forever Family on October 13, 2009!

Yippee!!! Yesterday was my 1st birthday. It was also my first time i celebrated my birthday here on Dogster. I turned one year old. Wow, a whole year already that i have been in my forever home with my forever family. Mommy said it seemed like just yesterday i was a little cute as a button puppy at 3 weeks old back in December when i arrived home to my forever family for the first time. Boy, time flies hehehe. Anyway, my pawrents and i have been counting down all week up until my birthday yesterday. Mommy has been running around the house all this week getting everything ready for my birthday. Mommy was home from work yesterday so she could celebrate my birthday with me. I was so happy that mommy could stay home and celebrate with me. Daddy had to go to work yesterday, but as soon as he got home he celebrated with me. Mommy and i woke up and you guessed it, we had eaten breakfast and then mom made me my beautiful birthday card that she got from the internet. Mommy is very creative hehehe. I had to stay in the kitchen while mommy was in the bedroom getting my birthday card ready and pressies to set out for me. We have a sliding door and i tried to peek in the door at my pressies and mommy caught me. Ah shucks hehehe...she said "no peeking Bear" so i went and laid down in the kitchen. Well a few minutes later, mommy came in the kitchen and took pictures of me with my birthday pressies and card. I got a new raw hide bone. I was so excited and my tail just a wagging i jumped up on the stove on my hind legs to try to get to my new raw hide bone while mommy was taking pictures hehehe. The bone smelled really good. I also got a halloween cookie in a shape of a pumpkin. Mommy and daddy knows how i like pumpkins they are my favorite halloween decoration. I also got a new leash because my other one was tearing. My most favorite special birthday pressie of all was my jumbo basketball. I played with it all last night hehehe. Mommy and daddy said they heard me squeaking the basketball all the way in the other bedroom during the night while they were in the bed sleeping. I also got plenty of belly rubs from mommy and daddy.

Later on during the afternoon, mommy and i got on Dogster and there were so many pmails, and rossettes with birthday wishes. I got an pmail from Dogster Inc. wishing me a very happy birthday filled with love and joy and tail wagging. Dogster Inc. gave me 25 bones with a vote of 5 paws. Thank you so much Dogster Inc. your pawsome. It was my first vote of 5 paws. An extra special thank you to these wonderful groups for the beautiful birthday pictures with birthday wishes: Pets That Love Fun, HTT, The Royal Bark and Purr, and Furballs and Friends. It's great to have so many wonderful and good furiends here on dogster to celebrate my birthday with. There was so many of you that I would like to take the opportunity to say an extra special thank you to these furiends for thinking of me and celebrating with me on my birthday: Sophie Claire and Harley Davidson, Howard, Tinkerbelle and Natasha for the yummy steak with the birthday wishes. Sadie and Sasha, Dino and Buddy, Maximus, and Koko for the yummy blue frosted cupcake. Smores and Smokey for the yummy chocolate frosted cupcake. Hershey, and Prada and family for the birthday hat with the beautiful birthday picture with birthday wishes. Sunny for the heart and Ciao-li and family for the yummy ice cream. It was delicious. Shew!!!! i'm almost out of breath *giggles*. You all have made it extra special. I wuf you all. My pawrents and i appreciate all the birthday pressies you have given me. I just want to share a piece of royal castle cake with all of you hehehe. I have had a blast on my birthday. My wonderful pawrents and my wonderful Angel brother Oscar have made my birthday so very special as well. My pawrents and i wish Oscar could have been here on earth to celebrate my 1st birthday with me, but we know he is celebrating at the bridge. Oscar sent best wishes to me on my birthday. Thank you Oscar! It was an exciting and bestest first birthday ever. I look forward to many more special, wonderful, and best birthdays for many years to come.

I'm still tuckered out from yesterday that i am going to take a nap now.
