Arrival Story:
When I was in high school a friend of my mother's bought him as a purebred 'chihuahua' and when she figured out he wasn't what she'd been told she didn't want him anymore. She planned to abandon him at the pound but thankfully my mother was a big softy and we took him in instead. He was mine right from the start, my first 'baby' and was with me for 12 great years. As a puppy he dug holes in my mother's sofa cushions, ate the throw pillows, chewed all the corners of the coffee and end tables and peed all over the place. He loved to rip apart his toys and get all the annoying squeaker and stuffings out of the way... the 'skins' are the best part of a toy anyways, everyone knows that! He loved to run around the house at mock speed, over furntiture and people and anything else in his way. He had the annoying habit of stealing my underwear anytime he could get ahold of them. He was less than stellar in the potty training department but we loved him none the less. Goofy was THE BEST dog I've ever had an no one will ever replace him. I still miss him terribly and think about him every single day! But he is the reason I looked into rat terrier rescue groups and ended up with the (now 2) brothers he never got to meet.

Bio:
2/12/92 - 2/8/04 He's waiting for me at the rainbow bridge and I look forward to the day we are reunited again.
