I swear it wasn't me!

This morning momma was supposed to be getting ready for work but after she took her bath, she wanted to lay down on the big bed "just for a moment". Of course Coco and I were right there begging to be lifted up to that comfortable bed. Momma let us up there while she watched a TV program. All of a sudden my kitty sister Bay-Ling jumped up on the bed but got scared because she didn't know we were up there with momma (Bay-Ling isn't scared of us, she just scares easily). Bay-Ling did a no-no on the bed and jumped down. Momma saw the present Bay-Ling left and immediately stripped off the bedding before daddy saw it.

It wasn't me this time, really.

I was pampered all day

I really liked having both our human daughter and her girl friend visit us. Both of them fussed over me and said what a pretty guy I am. I climbed right up on Alyshias lap and she petted me for the longest time. I closed my eyes and enjoyed it the whole time. Momma said it looked like I was grinning from ear to ear as I looked so happy and I did not want to get off of her. It was real nice to be stroked and fussed over - I could really get used to that real quick.

I wonder when they are coming back.

Sometimes I don't understand my humans. Tomorrow, Sunday, the human adult daughter and one of her friends are coming over for lunch. My momma and daddy are not the worlds best house cleaners so they wait until company is coming over then scramble like mad people to clean up the house. Daddy has been picking up his messes in the living room and momma has been stripping off the wax on the kitchen tile so it can be re-waxed.

If you ask me this is all a waste of time. I predict by the time momma gets the kitchen tile re-waxed and it dries that I will go into the kitchen and pee on the floor. It will be my contribution to this whole house cleaning - BOL

I played tag with Arleenton today

Today, momma opened up the gate to Arleentons yard and invited our bunny sister to come out into the big yard and get some grass and exercise. Everything was going real well until both Coco Rose and I spotted Arleenton hopping around. Coco took off after her and of course I waddled as fast as my fat little legs would carry me right behind them. Arleenton high tailed it back into her yard so Coco went after her on one side and I cornered her on the other. Momma saw what was going on and tried calling us back to her but we ignored her. I went right up to Arleenton and touched noses with her, it was then that Coco came charging from the other side and scared Arleenton away. Arleenton did not like having two dogs playing the tag game with her at all so momma chased both Coco Rose and me out of the bunny yard.

She was fun to play with for the whole two minutes that the game lasted. Maybe next time we will be able to play a little longer.

In trouble once again

It started out as a very nice Saturday morning. Momma woke up early and let Coco and I out of our respective crates so we could get up on the daybed and snuggle with her. After daddy woke up momma went into the master bedroom and decided to clean out the closet. While she did this, she let Coco and I lay on the king sized bed. Fast forward a couple of hours and momma had to get ready for her Saturday afternoon lunch with her girlfriend. When she was ready, she noticed that I was sniffing around on the quilt that was on the bed. Thinking I had to go to the bathroom, momma picked me up and put me on the floor then she did the same for Coco. It was then that momma noticed the quilt was wet in the area that I had been sniffing at....

Yup, one of her loving doggies peed on the big bed.

Of course momma said "Puff, daddy is going to kill you!"

What? Kill me! What did I do?

It was here that daddy came into the master bedroom and said "What did he do?" (Small house - loud momma)

Momma was already in the process of stripping off the quilt and sheets when daddy asked that.

Daddy - What did he do?

Momma - All I know is one of them peed on the bed.

Daddy - Why weren't you watching them?

Momma - Do I look like I have eyes in the back of my head?

Daddy - Why were they on the bed?

Momma - Because they like to lay on it.

Momma - Look on the bright side, you will have clean sheets on the bed tonight.

Daddy - %$#@ dogs.

Momma - So, you want to move the memory foam mattress outside so it dries out?

Daddy - %$#@ dogs.

As if this wasn't enough, after momma got back from having lunch with her girlfriend, she and daddy took Coco and I for a car ride. Let me tell you I was SHAKING! Daddy held me on his lap and Coco was in her car seat. You know where we ended up at? The groomers! Yes, this makes bath number 6 in two weeks for me- sheesh! Riverside County is having mandatory water rationing so would one of you please call and report my humans for wasting water? There is a nice juicy steak in it for you.

For those of you who do not know, I have had several different homes in my short life. The home I am in now is the fourth one that my humans know about. I have been passed along and finally ended up in an animal rescue group. When the lady from the rescue group left me at my new home I ran throughout the whole house looking for her but she never came back to get me. I was so scared that I would sit and shake wondering why once again I was left behind.

I have now been in my new home for 8 months - can you believe it? I still have some issues (going potty on the carpets remains one of them). I know my new momma goes to work and comes back at the end of the day, so I no longer sit and shake in fear. I am an excellent watchdog and have taught Coco Rose to "speak up" when someone approaches our house and you should hear the noise the two of us can make. It sounds like there are a dozen dogs behind our door, but it's only Coco and me - BOL, BOL. I'm really good at letting my human momma groom me which is a good thing because I seem to get alot of baths (did if mention I had yet another bath this week all because I rolled around in something and changed my hair color from white to brown)? I get along real well with Coco, Simba and Bay-Ling. I have yet to earn bunny playing priveliges but maybe someday....My humans give me lots of attention, feed me well, buy me treats and toys, but more than anything, I know they love me.

I'm happy - Puff

I still have an upset stomach and am having some potty issues (more so than normal). Momma says if I'm not better by tomorrow its back to Dr. Sierra I go. OH NO, I don't want that to happen.

My day today

I thought I had it made because Coco spent most of the afternoon at the vets so I had momma all to my self. I was so excited that I messed on the carpet a bit. Momma got out the carpet cleaner, then, it was into the bath tub I went. Yes, I am beginning to learn - crap on carpet, get a bath. I haven't figured out why this happens. Why does messing on the carpet result in getting a bath? Is this some new type of punishment? My trainer told momma and daddy that they are not to scold me for any reason so is this must be how the humans have decided to deal with me? All I can say is I'm one clean fellow, and I smell good too - BOL

Sorry daddy

I didn't know what to do...My stomach was not feeling well and I had to go to the bathroom really, really bad but daddy was out in the garage working. I did the only thing I could do, crapped all over the rug. When daddy came in he wasn't paying attention and managed to walk in it then track it through the house. By the time daddy finally noticed, the damage was done and let me tell you, I heard some very mean things being said. He really got upset when the carpet cleaner died and he could not get my handwork off the carpet. Daddy continued saying mean things about me and make Coco and I go outside while he went to the store and bought a new carpet cleaner. When he came back, he had to shampoo most of the carpet, clean his sandles off and told momma there was dog poo on the daybed. Momma pulled off the bedding and is currently washing everything. Daddy is still mad at me but he will get over it cuz I'm just a very lovable tyke - BOL
