All I can say is this sure isn't California...The weather here changes minute by minute. One minute the sky is blue and the sun is shining but then clouds sneak in and it snows.
Yesterday the humans needed to go to town to get a replacement part of the attic furnace that broke when daddy dropped the furnace when trying to install it into the attic. It was cloudy where we lived but come January and February the weather is supposed to be really nasty here so they had to chance going to town.
We live 8 miles away from the main road and the whole eight miles is dirt and/or gravel along winding roads that drop off in certain areas. Daddy put the chains on the truck tires and the humans made it safely to the main road. Then he had to take the chains off the tires because there was no snow on the paved highway. The 41 mile during trip to town there was no snow except for patches of snow on the side of the road however the mountain area where we came from was completely snowed upon - my guess is we had about 6" of fresh snow on the ground.
Daddy got the replacement part needed for the furnace and then dropped momma off at Wal-Mart while he went across the street to Home Depot. When they were heading back home the sun was out shining but storm clouds could be seen across the horizon where our home is located. Sure enough, when they got close to home it was snowing.
Coco is having a harad time walking in the snow and keeps falling face down into it - LOL. Me, I have a hard time walking on the ice and have decided to do most of my business on the front door cement landing (hey, I'm not stupid). Momma has been putting wee-wee pads down for us but we tend to want to go outside after the fuss momma made about us peeing in the other house, although we do sometiems leave pressies in the guest bedroom where the kitties are currently sleeping - HeHeHe.
Anyhow it is currently sunny outside when we look out the living room window but if we go into the kitchen there are some really dark clouds forming indicating we might have more snow sometime today.
As I was reading the end of your entry, I thought you were going to say...its sunny out the living room window but out the kitchen window its snowing. BOL ;)
Whitley liked da snow when she went to Harvard but hated going on da ice. Me, I is over da snow... I usta kinda like it but now it is just a pain and cold to boot!
Stay warm, pups!!
Dat ice are NO fun!
We got our first real snow here. 27 inches so far with more snow coming. Mom has snow trails dug for me and Darcy to go potty. By the door where the concrete is mom uses the tube sand (it's gritty) for us so we don't slip. Hang in there! :)
OMD Puffy .. it really isn't California ..but i love your snow photos.. !!!p.s. you look marvelous!
