Yes pups as you can tell by the title of today’s diary daddy and I almost got killed this morning.

Momma had a very early doctor’s appointment and got up in plenty of time to get showered, dressed and out the door but instead she lay back down and went back to sleep. When she woke up the second time it was 10 minutes after 7AM and her appointment was 7:45AM. It takes anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes to get to the doctors office depending on traffic and since it was rush hour with people going to work the roads would be congested.

Anyhow, when momma woke up the second time and saw the time she jumped out of bed, quickly showered, dressed and went out the door. What she didn’t see was that I followed her outside and was jumping up on the car trying to go with her.

Daddy however did see what I was doing and came outside to get me so as he was bending down to pick me up momma was still unaware of the situation, started the car and pulled out into the street and drove to the doctor’s office.

Momma never even saw us and it wasn’t until she got back home that she learned what had happened.

I'm glad you and your Daddy are okay. If you ask my opinion, going to the dr. is never a good plan, and who gets up at such an early hour for an appt? All my appointments have to be in the afternoon because this dog does not like to be disturbed before noon! Why are the drs. even awake at that time?

BAD BAD Mummy! My Daddy would have shouted so loud people would have heard him miles away. Daddy was in the Army and a drill instructor and can shout really loud. The few times he shouted at me I thought my ear drums were going to bust.

Oh Puffy! I've only seen your broadcast now! You had a close shave and I hope you've had some treats to cope with the trauma! I'm sure your Momma felt really bad when she heard what had happened. Like my Momma felt really bad last week when I cut my paw last week because she let me run into some trees where some naughty people had left some broken bottles!
