I had a nice diary entry all typed up and ready to save when BAM!!!!! it disappeared so let me just fill you in on what went on today.

Daddy's owie from yesterday stopped bleeding sometime during the night and no, he did not go get a tetanus shot even though momma told him he really needs one.

Today Puffy and I barked and barked at momma and daddy because we were in the sewing room and could see the humans out at the trailer. All rehabbing has been done but when daddy inflated the air mattresses he discovered they were nine inches too wide to fit onto the bed slots. Tomorrow he is going to extend the bed slots which mean he will be using power saws and other tools. I’m going to have to check the first aid kit to make sure it is well stocked with lots of band aids and stuff.

When the humans came in this afternoon we were allowed to go outside to visit with Arleenton and do our business and then it was supposed to be nap time. Momma laid on the big bed with us for a little bit but then grabbed Coco and plopped her into the tub – BOL, BOL. Was she surprised! I laughed and laughed until momma came and got me and I too had a bath. Now let me ask you something, if you knew you were going someplace where there is nothing but dirt, brush, weeds, etc., do you really think you should have a bath? OF COURSE NOT!!!!! The real sad part of this is that since I am going to a dirty area I am willing to bet that when we get home we will get another bath. What do you think?

Anyhow we are now planning on leaving for New Mexico Tuesday morning. It is going to be a long 10 hour trip and we will need all your prayers that we make it there and back safely.

Uh, Puff, there aren't enough band aids in that first aid kit to deal with a power tool owie.

And he really should go get a tetanus shot. Mommy's dogtor told her if a person gets tetanus, it is a slow painful death. Serious.

I have to agree with Zoe, your daddy needs a tetanus shot. Do not let him near the power tools, ever!!!! Paws crossed you have a safe trip.

This morning during breakfast momma told daddy there is a clinic in a neighboring city that will give him a tetanus shot for $10.00. Daddy snapped at momma and said he would get one before he moves out to the property this summer. I don't know why daddy is being so stubborn about this.

All these baths you and Coco are going to have wrinkled skins?????? Jeez,I'm glad, I'm a Hound! A washrag can clean me up from 1 end to another in a shake.... All your hairs,different story.I'm sure you will get a back Home Bath!
I hope the after bath treats are PAWTASTIC?

Puff and Coco keep you journals pawed on this run to NM...we want Full reports on Daddies craziness, when you return! Makes Gma not feel like, she lives in the Twilight Zone alone...

You're right, OF COURSE NOT, you did not deserve a bath. So since they did, then that means you should get really dirty and really stinky on your trip!

I think your Daddy should seek medical attention, but I know how stubborn they can be. My dad once hurt his foot at work....the entire top of the foot was taken off--you could see the tendons and junk. He finished his shift, and then came home and went to bed. Mommy finally got him to go to the hospital the next day. Mommy says men are idiots. Maybe she has a point in that case.LOL HOwever, he also said I should eat human food so I know he was a genius about that.

I hope you and the humans have a safe trip to New Mexcio. My family and myself will pray for your safety.
