Daddy had some important business to do today so he got up early and put on his fancy clothes and was gone by the time Coco and I woke up. Momma did some errands and then came back home and cleaned up a bit. We were settled down on the big bed because Coco isn’t supposed to be moving around too much so where better to nap at. It was through the French doors that we saw daddy come home so we barked and barked to welcome him back.
Daddy took off his clothes and put them on the bed and was talking to momma. When he went to pick up his clothes he noticed that somehow they were now wet and as my luck would have it I was right by them.
Daddy to momma – Did YOUR dog just pee on my clothes?
Momma to daddy – I don’t know: why don’t you ask him?
Daddy to me – Puffy why did you pee on my clothes?
I looked at daddy and smiled my biggest smile and told him how much I love him.
Momma to daddy – I don’t think that’s pee. I think he just threw up. I’ll put them in the washing machine right now.
Me to momma – Thanks momma, you’re the best.
Momma to me – Okay Puffy, this can be our little secret but please don’t pee on daddy’s clothes again okay?
Me to momma – Okay.
I probably would have blamed NotMe personally. Aren't Momma's great at covering for us? My Mom does the same thing and then Dad gets over it.
When NotMe visits our house it's to urka. Daddy is acfurrily less upset than mommy, BOL!! But then, at our house NotMe usually makes his messes on the carpeting!
Why don't dads hang up their clothes ?? LOL !! Puffy, glad you and mommy have a special secret !
First Rule: Admit to Nuthin!
It is Always Notme's fault.
Oops. But I agree. It was the Notme's fault. You would NEVER do anything like that!
I tell Mom it was NotMe but I still have to wear that %#^@#! belly band. But *sometimes* if I - umm, NotMe - times it right, Mom will take it off mid-stream. BOL!
Why not just say that you were helping by "washing" his clothes? That way you become a hero saving the humans work. They do get them wet to wash them, don't they?
NodMe neber, eber bisits dis howse. I r duin' sumfing wong, pupses??? If I urka gurka, doe, it R always on a wug, neber on da hardwood fwoor :D
