The vet called and told the humans that they did not detect any blood in my urine and that aside from the failing liver the only other thing that is going on now is a very low thyroid so tomorrow momma has to go pick up some medication that I have to take. I haven’t had another “accident” on the floor in two days but then too I’ve had to wear that silly belly band.

Right now I’m drinking a lot of water and thinking about piddling on the floor while momma has my belly band in the washing machine. You know for old time’s sakes – BOL, BOL

Anyhow, the news could have been worse because the vet did say that I would most likely loose control of my body functions the closer I get to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Right now that doesn’t seem to be the case – Thank goodness.

Puff ~ the rainbow bridge is too far away for you to see clearly yet! Just drink the water, take the yucky medicine (although the last stuff I had tasted like MEATZ and I snarfed it up) and POTP!

PUFF.. MAYBE THE LIVER IS PRESSING ON YOUR BLADDER SOME.. TELL MOM JUST TO KEEP THE BELLY BAND ON .. YOU GOTS THE BEST MOMMY EVER ! I GO THROUGH PERIODS OF TIME WHEN I DRINK MORE WATER TOO.. MAYBE YOU ARE JUST DOING THAT AND YOU CAN'T HOLD IT AS LONG ..WELL ANYWAYS .. NO BRIDGE JUST YET FOR YOU .. LOVE YA !

I go through periods when I drink lots of water too Puff. Just drink the water and wear the belly band and all will be good.

What is this talk of losing bladder control and crossing to the bridge? You are too young for that.

Your mommy and my daddy should share stories. My daddy has to clean me up several times a day. Sometimes I am good holding it, but sometimes not. Plus I dribble when I get picked up. Mommy is always doing laundry and cleaning the floor.

But I know you are trying really hard, just like I do.

Sending huge healing hugs Puff. Don't worry about the drinking lots of water part. That happens sometimes when a pups thyroid goes out of wack. I was doing that too until the vet put me on thyroid meds and I'm doing great now. No extra water drinking and no more "accidents" in the house. :)
