Hi Pups,
Momma got her camera to work, took a picture of the plate she made and posted it on my page. I have tried not to be too critical of her hard work but I have to say it doesn't look like me.
All of my hair has been cut really short so that the special shampoo momma has to put on my back can reach the lesions. Since the groomer cut the body hair she also elected to "trim down" the hair on my face. Momma says I still look like a Maltese but one who does not have flowing hair cascading over their body. Maybe someday I will.
For those of you who are wondering how momma did the plate, she has a quilting book that has pictures of small dogs that can be used for appliqués. Momma took the pattern for the Maltese and had it shrunk down so it would fit onto the plate she was going to paint, then used carbon paper to get the image onto the plate, after which she painted it all and the potty place baked it in the kiln. What you see is the finished product.
We're hoping the second plate momma did of Coco Rose turns out - keep your paws cross.
