First thing this morning momma took Coco to the groomers for some pampering and left me with daddy while she was gone. She then stopped at the neighborhood grocery store and got some chicken breast and other goodies. When she got home I didn't come to greet her at the door nor did go I into my usual barking to announce someone was entering our castle. Momma asked daddy where I was as he was lounging on the sofa covered in a quilt. Daddy lifted up some of the quilt and there I was snuggling between his legs. When I saw momma I promptly got up and went to tell her how much I missed her and of course followed her from room to room.

I'm no fool because momma started cooking the chicken to make chicken soup and I wanted to be the offical taster which I was once everything was cooked and cooled down. The best thing about being the taster today was that I didn't have to share with crazy Coco. There was no one barking in my face telling me that all the food was hers. I got to sample all the tasty treats that momma gave me in peace.

When Coco came home later in the day the first thing she did was go running into the sewing room to make sure I had not eaten the cookie that she has been carrying around for well over one week - which I had not. It doesn't matter what she is doing because she always remembers she had a cookie and where she put it - BOL

Anyhoodle, she got an old dried out cookie and I got nice moist chicken - HeHeHe
