Before we begin, I need to document that everything recorded in today's diary entry should not be held against me - Santa are you reading this?
Anyways, it is still raining down our way and I had to be at the vet at 10AM this morning. Momma got out my raincoat but forgot to put it on me because we were running late. I walked out to the car, was placed on the passenger front seat and off we headed to the vet. Due to all the rain there were accidents and delays so it's a good thing we left early. By the time we arrived I was shaking like a leaf. The rain was still falling so momma parked the car and lifted me out and carried me into the office.
No sooner did we get inside when momma started sniffing and asked me if I went potty. There was no denying it because all down momma's shirt was poop. That probably wasn't the worst thing because I also pooped on her leather purse. Momma and purse were caked in my poop.
This actually worked out to my advantage because no one at the vet's office wanted to touch me - BOL. The vet put on gloves before she would handle me (she is expecting her first human puppy next year so she has to be careful).
Anyhow my condition remains the same and I will continue to have infections and illness that are associated with my liver failure. I am AGAIN on antibiotics. Momma once more asked this vet if I was dying and this time she came out and said yes. I will not be recovering from the liver damage, but as mentioned in a prior diary entry do not count me out just yet because I am not planning on leaving right at the moment. The vet did say that it is highly likely that one of the secondary illnesses would contribute to my passing as all of the toxins are causing other problems in my body.
But for now, I plan on staying here with my furever family where I am loved.
Oh, you makes me sad, Puff. Youse still young an it's not right. Well, guess none of us knows when we's gonna go to da Bridge. You jus 'joys yer life an has lotsa fun.
Dear Puff, thank Dawg you have a wonderful furever home where you can be happy and cared for till your departure for the Bridge. Hang in there, get lots of cuddles, and have a Merry Christmas!
Puff, you kill me. I wish I could poo on my mom just to mess with her head. Keep up the good work.
Lil Bear - Don't be sad I keep on telling momma that I plan on hanging around several more years. Of course that means I'll have to go to the dreaded vet more often but obviously I have a weapon that I deploy when I'm there - BOL, BOL.
My new frind Patch - I love my furever home and even my bossy fursister and kittys. I even have a bunny sister but I'm not allowed to play with her. Life is good and I'm happy.
Little CoCo Puff - My momma was very good about what happened even with the poop in her purse - BOL. The trick is to make sure you don't snicker when she confronts you about doing something like that. You have to keep an innocent face so that she feels sorry for taking you to the vet in the first place. Momma said she was glad that I did not poop in her car again although cleaning her purse was a bit of a challenge. I'd be willing to be there is a BIG note on my health file at the vet instructing everyone to use a towel when handling me - BOL, BOL
Merry Christmas everyone, I'm glad you're my pals.
