11/01/10 Taking care of business

Bright and early this morning momma and daddy got up. showered and left. Coco and I were in the sewing room for hours and hours all by our self and guess what...I was a super good boy and did not piddle or poop on the carpet.

When momma and daddy got home late tonight I went running to momma and sniffed her. Hump, she smelled like my fur cousins the fat butterball Molly and hyper Holly. I wanted to know why they didn't take us with them.

Momma explained that daddy's paw paw crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday and that they had to go to his house to take care of some business (please do not send us any rosettes as paw paw was 83 years old and is now out of pain). Anyhow momma is going to have to go to paw paw's house for quite a bit now to do cleaning and painting and she said that she would take Coco and me with her as long as it is before the new carpeting is installed because she doesn't trust me not to piddle or poop on it.

Okay, maybe I did potty on the humans carpet once or twice but who is counting? Should I be branded a non-house broken dog just because there is a wet spot on the carpet? I know for a fact that the humans never once did a DNA test on the spots to see who actually the guilty party was. Daddy says he is sure it is me when he sees the pee running off the wall because Coco and the kitties do not lift their leg when they pee therefore the only one who could possibly do such is me. Of course I must remind daddy that I have a spinal injury therefore I am unstable on my hind legs so if he is seeing pee running off the wall maybe it is HIM who is doing it.

And that's my defense if ever I have to go to court about it. Do you think it has any merit?

It is all circumstantial, Puffy. They only assume it is you, but can they prove it?!?!

I's a doggie girl & I's always lifts my leg when I pee. Not to the side like you boy doggies but instead I's lifts it straight forward. Mommy thinks it cute & funny what I's does.

Ebby could be a witness for you Puffy! She's could 'tesify that some girl doggies lifts they's leg when peeing!
