Thank you Dogster for picking my diary as one of the diary picks of the day. I really do enjoy the honor and of course the fun that follows when I get to rub it in Coco Rose's face.

On to other stuff, it has been raining off and on today. Momma noticed that the three new bushes that she recently planted on the top of our little 8 foot hill died during the recent heat wave so she bought replacement shrubs for them. As she was going up the hill she slipped and fell hard on her left side. Let me tell you momma said some new words that I have never heard before. I had to ask Coco Rose what they ment and she told me I did not need to know.

After momma was done talking trash (Coco said that is what it is), she continued up to the top of the hill and there she accidently rammed the shovel into the top of her left foot. Again momma let go with some of that trash talking, but she was also shaking and crying.

Momma yanked each of the dead plants up and tossed them to the bottom of the hill then quickly planted the new ones in their place. Momma then sat down on her butt and scooted down the hill. If momma hadn't been crying it really would have been rather funny.

I stayed next to momma to make sure she was okay but when she went into the bathroom and started running water in the bathtub I went and hid in the living room so I wouldn't get a bath.

Sounds like an exciting? day at your house. Hope your Mom is OK. Hope you were able to hide good and not get a b a t h!

Sending licks and kisses to your mommy. They do miracles on our mommy. Mommy feel sad about what happened to your's and send her hugs to comfort her. (((HUGS)))
The bath was for your mom but I can understand you felt nervous about it because usually it's for you !

I am sorry your Mommy got hurt, and I hope she is okay now. When it comes to baths, a dog can never be too careful. I know the humans take them, but they also try to trick us dogs so they can't always be trusted.LOL
