Special Day Today!

Today just happens to be my birthday, I just turned 5!!! Yep my birthday is right after Christmas. Some feel that they get cheated out of gifts if their birthday fall around this time. Not me, my mom gives me so much stuff that I am so excited and I don't know what to play with or eat next! I've got such a good mommy! Hiya mommy, thank you and I love you!!! *woof, woof* Happy Holidays to all my pals!

Been A Long Time...

Mommy and I have been super duper busy. That's why we haven't blogged in awhile. Just in case ya wanted to know. But mommy signed in really quick so that I could say ruff to all of my pals and let you all know I miss you!!! Ruff, Ruff!!!

It's Been Soooooo Long!

Hi everybody! It has been months since mommy and I made an entry. We have been so busy but I missed all my buds here. I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer. Don't you just love hangin' out in the glorious sunshine. I have such a huge grin when mommy takes me on long walks.

Mommy took me with her and my uncles Chris, Joey and Phil to the shore for a beach party this past weekend. I met so many people and they all wanted to pet and kiss me and know my name. After a while I got tired so mommy took me back to the hotel so I could nap.

The next day we all hung out at the pool and I got to try out my new life jacket. I tried to run from mommy under the bed tho cause I hate to wear ANYTHING! But mommy said we had to be safe by the pool. I made even more friends by the pool and I had such a ball running all around the pool. I barked at everyone who jumped into the pool and was swimming back and forth and I ran around the pool to meet them wherever they ended up. I wasn't supposed to go into the pool but mommy wanted to see how I would handle myself and it was cold at first but I would swim a little each time and then would want to get out. Nobody minded me being in the pool not even the hotel owners they thought I was a hoot, so mommy kept putting me in every now and again.

My uncles spoiled me too; I got so many snacks and love. After awhile even though mommy put sunscreen on me she took me back to the room because there really was no shade and I was getting sleepy again. Once I got in the room I drank water made a little bed out of my uncles Chris & Joeys clothes and slept.

What a great weekend! But I wore myself out to the point that as soon as we got home I disappeared and knocked out. I don't even remember getting in the bed with mommy in the middle of the night! Mommy said I stayed snuggled next to her and never flinched or moved. When she woke up she called my name several times before I slowly raised my head up. I felt her kissing me and saying good morning, then I very slowly opened my eyes. I was thinking "oh nooooooooo it can't be time to wake up, noooooo I don't wanna pee pee, nooooooo I wanna sleeeeeeep!" After a few seconds I sprang up and then that was it.

I'm Sleeping In Today *Yawn*

I am so tired this morning. I was all warm and snuggly next to mommy this morning until she had to get out of bed. I stayed there in her spot that was sooo nice and warm until I knew she was almost ready to leave. I jumped out of bed and stretched and yawned and stretched some more. Then I curled up in my own bed in the living room. Mommy had her coat on and was calling me so we could go outside. Well I looked at her, slowly got out of my bed and stretched, then turned around and got back in. Mommy came back looking for me and that is when I finally got up. It was so cold and windy outside I did my business so fast and flew back up those icy steps. I didn't even want a treat this morning I went straight back to my bed and curled myself underneath my blanket.

Mommy and auntie Chatter cancelled my birthday party because it snowed. I was sad and I think mommy knew it because she kept saying that my eyes were so watery. I will have it on another day that will be nicer and we doggies won't track snow and stuff into auntie Chatter's house.

Mommy added some pictures of my cousin Sasha the chihuahua who was born in Puerto Rico and guess what, she is barklingual!!! I wish I understood more than one language!! The next picture is of my best buddy China, he is a Chinese Crested. He is a talented singer. His range is amazing. The last picture is of my new pal Spanky who is an English Bulldog and the youngest of the group. He is just a pup. I haven't met Spanky yet but I smelled him on mommy yesterday. She said he is adorable and likes to play. I like to play too so I can't wait to meet him.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

Whooo hooo it's snowing finally! I got up this morning and there was no snow, nothing at all and I was all excited to run outside & do my business and then bury my nose in the snow and roll around and around while mommy yelled at me from the door to come in. She does that so she can hurry to go to work, but you know I have to run around the yard at least 5 times after going to check out what's going on in the neighboring yards. Oh yeah I race to the back left corner of the yard and get on my hind legs and look through the chain link fence. When I hear mommy calling I try to act like I don't hear her (you know it's my world and I live in it woof!) and I then run along the back fence to the right side and stick my head underneath the wood fence. I want to see if my pal Bella is visiting her grandpa Nick. Bella is 5 and she is a beauty; she is from Egypt, she is a bisenji. Maybe she will be over later and we can both play in the snow.

Wait!! I just thought about it. Oh noooo, what if it snows all weekend and we can't get to auntie Chatter's house!?!? My party is Sunday and I have been waiting to eat goodies and have fun. Oh what if no one comes out because of the snow? Ok now I am about to get sad. :-( I want my mommy but she is at work. Mommy please come home!!

Sunshine Day!

Good morning. I think I see some sun after all of that rain we had yesterday! Everytime I went out to do my business I got so wet, but that didn't stop me from exploring all my favorite spots in the yard. Mommy just toweled me off each time I came in and I ran around the house like a speeding bullit to hasten the drying process.

There is just 9 days left until my birthday party. My cousin Sasha isn't coming and I am sad about that. We don't spend much time together so I was looking forward to seeing her. Mommy said we will make up a goodie bag for Sasha and give it to her when we see auntie San & uncle Ran on Xmas.

That's all for today, I'm just going to chill out watching tv (yep mommy leaves it on for me cause she knows I like watching when I am not asleep or playing), looking out the window and napping until mommy gets home.

Hi everyone!! Hope you all had a good weekend. I had a good one cause I had my mommy all to myself. We stayed home the entire weekend cause mommy had a bad migraine. Saturday we didn't do anything although I think mom wanted to clean and do laundry because she had put clothes in piles on Friday night. I love jumping into and burying myself in the clothes, it's so much fun! Mommy felt so bad we stayed in the dark and in bed all day. I tried to make mommy feel better by giving her occasional licks on her cheeks and chin. She is such a good mommy she did take me for a nice walk even though she didn't have to. On Sunday I knew mommy was feeling much better when she got up and pulled out the vacuum cleaner. I hate that thing it is so noisy and it blows air on me! When mommy got done with her cleaning and laundry she put my sweater on and I got all excited. She said we were going for a ride to grandma and grandpa's house for dinner. Not so exciting...grandma is scary. She likes to stare at me and tell me to stay in the kitchen near the door making me feel self conscious. I can't help it if I shed!!!! Mommy and grandpa tell me not to pay her any mind; I try but she still scares me. I did get to eat some potato chips while there though and I sat on mommys lap while they watched a movie. She kept me warm cause they keep it so cold in there. After the movie we left to go back to our cozy little home. That was my weekend. 13 days left until my birthday party! Yippeeee!!!

My Birthday Party!

Only 16 days left to wait to see all my lil' buddies. My mommy is throwing me a party for my 2nd birthday at my auntie Chatter's house. I am so excited because we can all run around, have relays, jump and play. Oh yeah we get to have cake!!!! I can't wait. Yum, yum, yummy. There will be prizes for the one who can eat their cake the fastest and sloppiest. I'm gonna try to savor mine. We have to get all dressed up (I hate that part, I'm gonna try to find a way to get my dress off so I can streak throughout the house!) and there will be a prize for the best dressed. Mommy came home later than usual yesterday because she went to Petco to buy treats for the party. How do I know? I could smell those treats through the bag!! I wanted some but she put them high up on the table so I guess I'll have to wait for those.
