June 1st, 2011 my brother arrives! I've been waiting and training for months now. I learn to be gentle with babies and how to stay near them and keep them safe. Here is a video of me meeting him for the first time. Enjoy.

Yesterday I went to obedience school again. I usually love to go but this time I am all pooped out. I had a long weekend with many people visiting and Neilla came to stay for the week.
The trainer try to get us to stay until we are called to come but I didn't like to be away from my duddy. I just wanted to be near him that day. I think I feel safer being near him. I like to sit right beneath his feet and sometimes on his feet so when he moves I'll know it.
But I was a good sport and I did my best to stay. The people got so happy when I did stay for awhile. They are easy to please!
Then they tried to get me to move by distracting me with treats and other dogs. That was easy. I didn't want to move to begin with. Ha! Again they were overjoyed to see that I didn't fall for their tricks.
Well I had too much by mid class and I just wanted to go home and relax. My duddy saw what I was feeling but we stayed for the rest of class anyway. I'm glad we did because I'm not a quitter!
Hopefully, next week's class will be better. I'll practice at home this week.

Today I got up very early at 5am. I fuss a little to see if anyone hears me but no one does so I nap around until about 6am. My mummy heads to the bathroom and that's my chance to get up and go myself. It is cold so she takes a little time to bundle up. I show her how excited I am by chasing my tail. But I don't bark because it is too early.
Then when she is finished, I lie down quietly so she can put a leash on me to keep me safe. We go outside and it is COLD. She takes me to my usual spot and I check it out to make sure. Sure enough it is and I do my thing.
We quickly get back inside. We both head back to bed again. And that's my usual morning.
