Arrival Story:
One day I decided to get a dog and I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on a dog from a dog breeder, so I figured I would go to a shelter/pound for a dog. I figured I could give a dog in a need a home so I went that route. I went to many shelters but couldn't find a dog that I clicked with. Then one day on my lunch break I went to a shelter not to far from my work and bammm that was my little guy. He was shabby and didn't look very good, but I could see something in him. He walked to the gate where he was residing and just stared at me. I put my face to the gate and he was so calm and just seemed to click with me. I went back on his available date at 7:30 am sharp and he as mine. I got all of his hair cut off, he was pretty much shaved completely because he was completely matted and dirty. After about a month he looked great and was perfect under all that hair. I am so happy I found him at the time I found him. It was like he was meant to be my little manny.
